Time counts at BJ's Restaurant & Brewhouse. Since our humble beginnings back in 1978, we've continued to refine our brewhouse experience to make BJ's a place where you can make the most of any meal. We want BJ's to be a place where the moment you leave is the moment you plan on coming back. We pride ourselves in our craft and attention to detail. Our guests come here for our award-winning handcrafted beer. They come here for the Southern California twist we've put on the Chicago-style deep dish pizza. Good atmosphere and menu. Service was good. It wasn't very busy so we were seated quickly and catered too. They can get real busy on weekend nights, so a reservation is recommended.

We had reservations, but we were told by the first person that we had to wait 45 mins, but the manager heard us and said no, we have seats available. We went and sat down. We waited 20 minutes for a drink order which one of our drinks didn't come. We had to re-order it. We had our appetizer come on, and our additional 5 plates were all dirty. We ordered our food at 2 pm and didn't get it until 2:55pm. Our waiter had 5 tables to attend, he was complaining to us and the table behind is about havi g to work so much. It was busy but a mess. We were going to get dessert but the dirty dishes changed us. I couldn't even eat my food after that. We left and got burgers and dessert somewhere else. We were from out of town for a graduation. We won't be back.

It's always a good experience when we choose to eat at the BJ's in Salinas. The atmosphere is calm and relaxing, the staff is always polite and attentive, and the food is always delicious. Our server last night, Riley, was especially attentive and came to check on us at all the right times. The pizookie deal they had last night was great and the taste was equally as great. Thank you BJ's staff for yet again another great night out.

Food was good, it was cold/windy in patio, only one server but he tried his best to check in with us.

Our server was so rude.. the food took 40 mins and the bbq sandwich barely had any meat on it. Server only came by once AFTER we asked a different server. We asked him to split the bill with the other person at our table 3 times!

First time out in months. Probably need a way to split checks on the pay by phone link (but my companions graciously let me pay). Little odd reading the menu on my cell phone and trying not to be rude. But for first week of a changing world it was just fine.

I would recommend for the burgers but not the steak. Husband ordered a steak with asparagus and a caesar salad. Salad was practically frozen and inedible. The asparagus was barely ripe, let alone cooked. I was very disappointed having to spend $18 for a plate of food that was horrible and the steak was mediocre at best. The brewhouse burger on the other hand was amazing. Service was incredible and very friendly.

Seemed like we had a new waiter, at least that’s how he acted. He just seemed like he wanted to do his job which isn’t bad. He forgot a drink and we had to track him down. And he didn’t even ask if we wanted desert. He just gave us the check. But otherwise, great food!

We were seated right on time, which was awesome. Our waitress was not very attentive and left our appetizers and plates on our table as she served our entrees. Food was just “ok.” One pasta entree was almost entirely tomatoes. It just was an “ok” dining experience. Don’t think I’ll return.
