Time counts at BJ's Restaurant & Brewhouse. Since our humble beginnings back in 1978, we've continued to refine our brewhouse experience to make BJ's a place where you can make the most of any meal. We want BJ's to be a place where the moment you leave is the moment you plan on coming back. We pride ourselves in our craft and attention to detail. Our guests come here for our award-winning handcrafted beer. They come here for the Southern California twist we've put on the Chicago-style deep dish pizza. And they come here for our Pizookies®, our world-renowned dessert. But above all we know people come here to make their good times better. To start, I was given a small table for 5 people, even though they have plenty available. I went with 3 smalls kids, extra space in the table is a must. Service was slow and food took a long time. But the worse for me, they have the TV's on news. Half of the Tv's were showing sport and the other the news. I did not like the idea of my kids watching fires, shooting, bombs in Ukraine and Ruasia. Testing bombs, tankers, etc. Not the kind of TV I want for a family dinner.

Jazz is a great waitress, very attentive and sweet. Knowledge of the menu and made great recommendations. Area of Improvement: The hostess with long brown hair today left much to be desired. We had reservations for 4 pm, arrived at 3:52 pm and she said she could not seat us until 4 pm since that’s the reservation. I’ve never made a reservation where if availability allows we are not sat earlier, but ok. We asked again at 4pm but she is engaged with a co-worker talking and it seemed as if my question bothered her. The place was not full, 4:10 pm we were sat. My understanding of a reservation is that the restaurant has time to prepare for the party. The timing wasn’t so much of an issue as was the hostess’ tone, non-verbal communication and overall attitude. She is the first contact with the customer creating our impression of the establishment, which was not good. Additional customer service training would be beneficial for her.
