Time counts at BJ's Restaurant & Brewhouse. Since our humble beginnings back in 1978, we've continued to refine our brewhouse experience to make BJ's a place where you can make the most of any meal. Great service and excellent food! Made reservations on open table and was seated immediately by hostess. Adam, our waiter did a great job quickly getting our orders and was courteous and professional-Highly recommend!

The gentleman we had as a server was none existent. We had to get the person who sat us get the server to come take our order, then he didn’t bring our drinks for over 30 minutes, then the food came and again he was not around.

Arrived 5 minutes prior to the reservation time and the hostess informed us we had to wait 15 minutes. Asked her what the purpose of a reservation if we had to wait for such an extended time and there was no answer or explanation. Everything was slow. Arrived at 5:55pm and left well after 8pm. 3 of us ordered the prime special. I ordered a medium and parts were well done. The prime rib lacked flavored that it’s had on previous visits. Sides were warm but not hot, I had the mac and cheese and mashed potatoes. The prime rib special is a good value as you get soup or salad then prime rib and two sides, a dessert. Service was good but could have been better but it was busy. More or less frustrated with having to wait even when arriving prior to the reservation time and the long length it took to receive every thing.

The ladies enjoyed their day at your restaurant. We were probably the noisy ones! We had such a good time laughing and telling stories. We got a lot of compliments on our hats so we were noticed!

Of the 6 of us dining, only I enjoyed my food. A burger - difficult to ruin. The Prime Rib special looked awful. Two of us wanted Prime Rib dip which wasn't available because Prime Rib was the special - please explain that logic?!?!? Each replaced it with a chicken sandwich which was dry and lacked any flavor. The Caesar salad was just, well - pathetic looking. Our waitress returned to the table but failed to clear away dishes nor refill drinks. We visited on a Friday evening which was busy however the food was still served quickly. We've been to this location before during off hours so maybe that is the key.

We enjoy BJ's, and have used the restaurant in Gainesville, Va for many of our family gathering for birthdays, etc. This past weekend, we had a table for 9 at 5pm on Saturday. Our waiter was very attentive, given that the restaurant was really packed. Our drink orders were taken quickly and delivered. Our food orders were taken promptly and the food was delivered in a reasonable amount of time. My only complaint was that when the bill arrived and I calculated the tip and provided it to the waiter, he returned a few minutes later and apologized because the printer was not operating properly and was printing the number 3 when it should have been printing the number 8. so, our bill which was printed as $239 was actually 289. But, i wasn't informed until after I had signed the receipt. Not a huge problem, since I could easily add $50 to the total. But I would think that the waitstaff would be informed of the current status of things like that, as crowded as the restaurant was on Saturday evening.

Our server was great. Attentive and friendly. We had a concert to get to and he had us in and out in a timely manner but definitely not rushed.

Our server was friendly, but service was slow (and it wasn't even close to being busy). They delivered the wrong margarita. Asked for no chunk tomatoes on the pizza and it came with no sauce at all. Either the bar and kitchen goofed the order or it was entered incorrectly. Like most restaurants these days, there's nothing special about BJ's.
