Time counts at BJ's Restaurant & Brewhouse. Since our humble beginnings back in 1978, we've continued to refine our brewhouse experience to make BJ's a place where you can make the most of any meal. We want BJ's to be a place where the moment you leave is the moment you plan on coming back. We pride ourselves in our craft and attention to detail. Our guests come here for our award-winning handcrafted beer. They come here for the Southern California twist we've put on the Chicago-style deep dish pizza. And they come here for our Pizookies®, our world-renowned dessert. But above all we know people come here to make their good times better. We went early so they weren't busy & the service wasn't very good. To start off, the kid who brought us to our dirty table did wipe it down but missed a very noticeable & sticky pop spill plus the chunks of previous customers food in the center of the table. I had to ask for napkins & water to wipe it up myself. Then they messed up our appetizer & one entree order which they did fix but they should have checked on us more. We wanted to order more drinks & desert but it took them too long to come by. When they did come by, some people at our table were ignored as they were trying to also get service. I normally tip 20% or more but the service was barely worth the 10% I gave. The young gentleman was slow but at least he was nice, entire female staff looked like they didn't want to be there & I had to ask for a box more than once. The woman's bathroom was a complete mess. Half the stalls didn't have toilet paper, some soap & towel dispensers were also out. It's usually a great experience, not exactly sure why it wasn't last night.

We had the prime rib dinner. We both ordered medium rare. Her's was medium rare and mine was medium. They were both dry and semi tough. The vegetables were good, but pretty raw and barely cooked. Very large brocoli flowers, not cut down to bite size. The potatoes, salad, and soup were great. We've eaten there many times before, but we won't be getting the prime rib dinner, again. Very disappointing. We went there early, about 5:30pm, on Friday evening. They either cooked the prime rib too early, or they cut them too soon.

Had a wonderful family dinner! The server was attentive, pleasant, and had excellent recommendations. The food was excellent!

Service was good. We had an issue with cold food buy it was handled quickly.

Our hostess was not well versed in the beer selection. She could not answer or questions so we just went with what we know.

Our waiter was excellent. The bar tender was slow in delivering drinks. At 6:30 in the evening they told us that baked potatoes were not available...really. When dinner finally came they did have baked potatoes but it should not have been an issue in the first place. Steaks were good but on the salty side. Can't say enough good about our waiter.
