Time counts at BJ's Restaurant & Brewhouse. Since our humble beginnings back in 1978, we've continued to refine our brewhouse experience to make BJ's a place where you can make the most of any meal. We want BJ's to be a place where the moment you leave is the moment you plan on coming back. We pride ourselves in our craft and attention to detail. Our guests come here for our award-winning handcrafted beer. They come here for the Southern California twist we've put on the Chicago-style deep dish pizza. Our waitress was absolutely awesome!! Despite Valentine’s Day, we had reservations, wait was minimal.

Normally BJ’s is great, but the service was incredibly and unnecessarily slow. Our server didn’t appear to be well trained.

Not worth a 30+ minute drive. We love BJ’s Brewhouse but we will not go to the Allen location again. Service was very slow and there were a lot of empty tables so it wasn’t a busy night in the kitchen at all. First the waiter offered fried pickles as an app, we ordered them along with fried mozzarella sticks- and he returned 10 minutes later to say they actually don’t have fried pickles anymore. Then when we placed our food order… we didn’t find out that the tomato bisque soup was not available until another 15 minutes after he left with our order. The waiter was not attentive as we had empty cups that we had to ask for him to refill even tho he walked by and could see the empty glasses. We went for my son’s birthday because he wanted the pizzookie so I guess it was good they at least had that available.

We will not be dining at this location again. We made reservations via Open Table for the points accumulation and the hostess canceled it instead of checking us in. So we had to contact Open Table to get our points. Thank you Open Table for fixing that. The hostess had terrible ‘bedside manner’ and did not communicate with another hostess effectively to seat us when we specifically asked for a booth. The volume of customers was low. The secondary hostess sat us and we asked if she could ask the manager to turn the AC as it was freezing and the hostess said they do not have control of the AC. We stated it didn’t hurt to ask. She was dismissive. Our waiter was nice enough and personable but his time management was off. Dirty silverware, asked for clean sets, took forever to get the new sets after our food arrived we had to flag down a gentlemen who was bringing food out for other tables. Our waiter finally brought the silverware and it was fine. Never asked how the food was, and it was actually very good. Went the the rest room and the hostess with no ‘bedside manner’ was in the bathroom on her phone while ‘cleaning’ it up and was complaining about work. After we left I checked my phone and noticed the reservation was canceled and per the instructions I was to call the restaurant to have it corrected. When I called the hostess asked who was calling. I asked for the manager on duty and my name was of no concern for her to ask 3 times. I’m already irritated I’m having to waste time making a call for getting Open Table points. After being on hold for an extended time, the hostess got on the phone and said, ‘she’s too busy to talk to you we are in rush hour’. Wow. Asked for the managers name and left it at that. The food was very good, the one drink ordered was more expensive than a singular appetizer. Our waiter was nice enough but lacked experience of time management but did serve us well and was left a 20% tip. Will not return.

Great food, but bad managed. We made a reservation for six pm. But when we got there they told us that it doesn’t matter and we still would need to enter the waitlist. So even with reservations we had to wait 25 min and people without reservations were served earlier because they entered the waitlist earlier. Why do you let people make reservations days ahead of time when they clearly don’t matter at all?

Reserved table for birthday dinner, they arranged table after 25 minutes of wait time! Poor service, below average food quality. It was bitter experience for such a good occasion, not going here again ever.

Everyone loved the boneless buffalo wings appetizer. Unfortunately the restaurant was out of Tatonka Stout Buffalo sauce, nso we opted for the regular buffalos sauce and BJ"s handcrafted root beer glaze sauces. The boneless wings were a bit too dry for my liking. The clam chowder was thick hot and excellent with a generous amount of clams. As always the chocolate pizookie was sinfully delicious. Our server Abby proved friendly and effectiv service throughout our meal.

We normally enjoy our visits to BJ’s but we left a little disappointed due to having a new server, his second day, as our waiter. We know he was still training but it took over 30 minutes to get our order placed and the kids were hungry. There were a few other issues, but minor. The food and dessert were good, but unfortunately the slower service ruined our evening.
