My husband and I visited here for the first time. I called in twice to change the table time as my boat was running late. I spoke to Paolo who was very friendly and explained it was not a problem and they would wait for me. Once I arrived, Paolo greeted us and we were immediately made to feel special. We had the tasting menu which was absolutely delicious. We were so full when we left, we ate everything that was brought to us! We will definitely be coming back to this restaurant next time we are in Venice. Highly recommend!

Truly amazing restaurant. Michelin worthy experience from beginning to end. Food was delicious and the service amazing. Only complaint would be wine menu markup was a bit excessive (most were 3x list price). Definitely worth a treat while in Venice.

What a terrific restaurant! My family and had our best meal in Venice at this place. Wonderful food, great wait staff. Highly recommend!

This is the fourth time we've been to Bistro de Venise over many years, and somehow it keeps getting better. This time, we sat inside, next to a window where we could watch gondolas go by. Our dinner was delicious. The service was impeccable and the setting could not have been more beautiful. Expensive, but well worth it. It was one of the best dining experiences we've ever had.

Really disappointing meal here. Scallops were fine but everything else was poorly cooked. Shrimp in saor was barely cooked at all, wish this was explained as I prefer all seafood to be cooked. Liver was just bland and grey and sat atop a pile of salty polenta which had formed a crust. The onions weren’t caramelized as menu states, in fact they were barely sautéed. My main of lamb was very difficult to eat, the tiny chops had bone on the top and it was impossible to extract the meat, of which there was very little to begin with. Service started strong but just fizzled out, probably as we didn’t order a bottle of wine ( the list is tremendous ). Our busboy picked up the slack, but service was so lacking we changed our mind about dessert, expecting further disappointment. In no way are the glowing reviews warranted. We wouldn’t return, and would not recommend it except to ardent wine enthusiasts who will be excited by the multi- page list.

Truly one of the premier dining experiences in Venice. Cozy but refined ambiance, consummately professional staff, and tremendous cuisine. Cannot recommend enough.
