Ive not been to this location since they moved so we were excited to try for brunch. Frankly it felt like a pop up restaurant which surprised me. The Manager with the beard was grumpy and seemed like he didn’t want to be there, our waiter was adorable, very sweet and helpful. Food was just ok, again felt like it was thrown together last minute. Nothing special and cocktails were sub par at best and for the price, they should be better crafted. Maybe it was an off day?

Bistro Vendome turned out to be the ideal place for my wife and I to spend Valentine’s Day, which was as well our 49th wedding anniversary. The decor is charming and of course reminded us of Paris. The staff are friendly and sophisticated and the service was superb and timely. I enjoyed the French onion soup and the Coq au vin and my wife had the trout with a wonderful cucumber salad . I highly recommend the wine selection and of course to top things off they have a dessert treat called the chocolate bomb, which was a delicious and fitting end to a great dinner in a place with lively atmosphere.

French onion soup was delicious, the bread and Normandy butter was fresh and fluffy, the mussels were saucy and served with crispy bread & fries, & the mushroom dish was unique and earthy. Everything was so good Chris was a great server, all the staff were nice and helpful. Special shoutout to Bobbe who made us feel the love on Valentine’s Day!

Wonderful Valentine’s day celebration with an accompanying beautiful red rose. Doug was our attentive and helpful waiter. His recommendations and menu and wine knowledge were spot on. Snails with a spicy spinach topping were perfect as were the beets. Pork was a generously sized tasty delight. The cock au vin was a modern rendition, not the traditional stew but nevertheless beautifully presented and very tasty. Lemon meringue and chocolate soufflé rounded out the evening with wonderful coffee.

Everything was so incredible!! Small apps were delicious and filling and my partner and I split the steak and frites. We got the country pate thinking it was a pate/mousse thing but it was delicious either way. Hope to come back for a chicken liver mousse again in future because we’ve heard it’s the best in Denver!!!

Really solid menu of french classics with absolutely amazing fries, cheese and wine choices and unique cocktails. Great wrap around bar in addition to 3 rooms with dining tables. It is a true neighborhood gem!

The waitress was amazing. The food was incredible. Four of us shared the escargot, duck, pork, and chicken. I really can’t tell you which one was the best because they were all done perfectly. And the homemade bread and butter was so nice and seemed like it came right out of the oven. Only downside is the space is a little loud and parking is at a premium. Overall, it was a great experience and I would go back in a heartbeat! (Although I recommend giving yourself a few minutes to find parking if you need to be on time!)

I came for brunch. I was seated near a window and watched other customers have a good time. Their brunch menu offers hors d'oeuvers, entrees and desserts. I started with a French Deviled Egg with a soft boiled egg, basil aioli and salmon roe. Nice presentation, though a croissant instead of bread would a better choice to soak the egg yolk and aioli. I added a classic French champagne cocktail Kir Royale. My entree were crispy potato latkes topped with salmon salad on a bed of crene fraiche. My dessert, was 5 beignets with cinnamon & powdered sugar with a coffee creme anglaise. A nice filling was to start my day.

All 4 of our meals were outstanding. Coq Au Vin. Steak Au Poivre, Salmon & Pork Chop. Mussels for appetizer along with steak tartare were both outstanding. Drinks were amazing as well. Dessert was divine, chocolate souffle, Samoa cookie dessert and Lemon pastry were all so delicious. Our waiter was outstand as well, very eager to please and responded to all questions asked. BRAVO to your staff and Chef!

Have not been here since they moved to this location, but it is as wonderful as we remember. Great food, cocktails and service. Matt and the rest of the team were a big contributing factor to our evening. We look forward to our next visit.
