Our server, Lily, was absolutely amazing! Chef visited our table and made personal recommendations that did not disappoint. We would visit Mobile again just to dine at Bistro St. Emanuel. I would give 10 stars if I could!

I wanted to love this place and we may give it another shot for dinner instead of brunch but I wasn't impressed. I ordered the Crazy Pig Omelet which should have come with Canadian bacon, spinach, mushrooms and swiss cheese. It didn't have any spinach or swiss cheese in it at all. Plus, the eggs themselves were really dry. I have actually never had an omelet so dry before. For $14 it was disappointing. From the size, to the dryness and then missing ingredients it was such a let down. My friends ordered french toast which isn't on the menu but theirs looked like average french toast and they said it tasted good. Also, it is VERY loud in there. Half of the tables were empty and we could barely even hear each other talk. There were only 5 of us so it isn't like our table was huge, we should have been able to have a conversation and hear each other talk without feeling like we needed to shout. All in all, I don't think we will be back for brunch. My husband and I will try it again for dinner just because everyone we talk to says how great it is but I felt like an honest review of the brunch portion was necessary.

My wife and I had a great meal. Service was excellent - not rushed, not too slow. We shared the Caesar Salad, a Crab Cake appetizer and the Seafood and Pasta. Wow - not to be missed. Shrimp, Mussels and Scallops plus Noodles. Tasty - not over seasoned - just as we asked for. If you’re not familiar with the area you might want to use a navigation device - well worth the extra effort. Enjoy!

Grace, our waiter, was excellent as was the meal. The Bistro continues to be one of Mobile’s finer restaurants.

Excellent food and service. It is somewhat noisy because of high ceilings and acoustics.
