Bistro Gadi offers a casual dinning experience focusing on seasonal produce.

Situated on on Level 4 of the Australian Museum, it offers guests a casual, interactive dining experience in a fresh, light-filled space with views overlooking Hyde Park, St Mary's Cathedral and Woolloomooloo Bay.

The lunch spread focuses on fresh seasonal produce, with platters of flavourful mains, salads and wraps prepared daily. Special kids menu available daily.

Open 11.00 to 3pm Wednesday to Sunday (last orders at 2.45pm).
*Please note Bistro Gadi will be closed for private events on Wednesday 14 August, Sunday 8 and Friday 20 September. We apologise for any inconvenience.

The food was healthy and delicious. Being able to order and have your meal served at the same time meant there was no waiting time for your meal. The service was very good with friendly staff .The choices of sides with your mains represent good value for money. The view was lovely making the restaurant light filled. Low noise making for a pleasant ambience.

Loved the setting and really enjoyed the service. Food was very good even though menu is limited. We had 6 adults and 5 children over two tables and everyone agreed it was a great way to end a visit to the Australian Museum.

This is a great value for money option for lunch at the Australian Museum. They currently have a special running until November. And the views are amazing - looking out to St. Mary’s Cathedral and Hyde Park. The food is very tasty. You choose a main and then either 2 or 3 sides. We really enjoyed our lunch after seeing an exhibition.

The food was delicious, the staff were all friendly, kids friendly even. Great view. Highly recommended.

Great location for a quick meal after a visit to the museum. The staff are very helpful and friendly. And the meal is very good value for money with a reasonable selection of dining options. The only criticism is the shepherd's pie, though delicious, could have been hotter.

Spectacular views of the city. We felt welcomed and looked after by the courteous staff from the moment we walked in. The food was delicious and great value with the $30 meal and drink deal. Thank you for a truly wonderful experience! X Karen

An enjoyable experience. We did elect to accept the last two serves from the hot dish - a mistake, as they were quite cold. Everthing else was great and the staff a delight.
