Bistro Freddie is a 45-cover restaurant in the heart of Shoreditch showcasing the best in British produce and French wine.

The menu is inspired by classic British and French gastronomy. Expect seasonal starters, bold mains and pies to share, as well as larger cuts of meat cooked over fire.

Curated by Alex Price, Bistro Freddie’s all-French wine list focusses on real wines that reflect a sense of place. The wine list takes a deep dive into all corners of France, exploring a variety of styles, regions and producers.

Very tasty food served and fantastic attentive service from everyone in the restaurant. There is a lovely atmosphere in this small restaurant but never too loud to spoil conversation at the table. Highly recommend eating here.

Overall a nice experience. Mains (bavette steak and pork) were fantastic. Bread and Butter was very poor (4 small slices of warmed up baguette), croquette and flatbread starters were decent. Sides were great and dessert was very nice. Wine list was very expensive. Only 1 or 2 wines at the £50 level. Service was OK, not bad but also not great.

Lovely food, excellent service. Prices on the higher end (which we were slightly surprised by). Phenomenal chips.

Very lovely staff and being on the counter was a pleasure. Food tastes so good, definitely we’ll be back.

The food was Amazing! Staff were very friendly and helpful. For a restaurant in London with that standard of food, the price was fair.
