Bistro Eté is everything you long for in a restaurant tucked away in a quaint spot in The Mill Center. Transformed by Interior Designer Karen Gorman to reflect an understated chic and comfortable style that transports you to the Coast of France. This unpretentious dining experience celebrates food and wine in a setting for all the senses yet does not compete with the flavors.

Chef Arie, inspired by his Cypriot heritage, formal training at Le Cordon Bleu in Paris and his years working under Two Star Michelin Chef Philippe Da Silva in Provence, presents cuisine reflective of this coastal style. Longtime customers can still indulge in his classic dishes such as escargot, striped bass with champagne truffle sauce and his own dry aged steaks. Of course Chef Arie’s menu will include many mouthwatering vegan and vegetarian dishes driven by altering his favorite recipes for his vegetarian wife.

Always a great meal at Bistro Ete. I had the brie and mushroom en crote and the duck confit paella. Both were outstanding. I had a few nibbles of the roasted Brussels sprouts and they were excellent as well.

Wow is all I can say . Great ambiance. We had the goat cheese salad and short ribs with pasta in a cream sauce. Everything was amazing and unlike many restaurants everything came out hot! We couldn’t make it to dessert but the menu looked intriguing. Can’t wait to go back

Been here a bunch of times and its my favorite restaurant in Ny, and its not even close! This team does everything right, menus, atmosphere, drinks, food, and service, in the Hamptons, yet it's down-to earth, real people. Rare!

Such a fabulous event! I didn't expect so much food. We attended the Father's day lamb roast. The weather was beyond perfect, & all of the outdoor tables were set up with ample space between them. You could comfortably chat with your neighbors or ignore them completely. Music was good. Service was stellar. Our waitress was attentive & very sweet. The Chef & his gorgeous wife were stars of the show. Liz was a phenomenal hostess, very attentive, you can tell she really loves her restaurant & guests. Chef Arie was a character. My poor dad doesn't really drink, & the free flowing ouzo got his attention. The Chef has a generous pour! Obviously ambiance is so key, but let me say the food was also fantastic! There was so much of it too. We started with a large Greek salad, home made pitas, tzatziki/hummus/caponata, then the Chef had sweet breads straight off the grill, house made sausages, ribs (they were a stand out). Even more food came out, a massive, gorgeous, seafood paella, swordfish kabobs, a lightly dressed potato salad, hefty portion of the grilled lamb, & blueberry torte with house made ice cream. Service, ambiance, food, all top notch.

The food and staff were very good . The overall timing between first course over and hour and the for the main course 1.5hours . Very slow kitchen!
