As it should be, the season’s harvest informs the menu. Cooking here is skillfully simple, using superb produce grown close by including from the Bistro Elba's kitchen garden, alongside foraged ingredients, organic meat, hand made cheeses, and daily fresh fish sourced from the best, ethical fisheries and cleanest oceans in the world.

Always, a wonderful dinner there. This was the second time we dined at Bistro Elba. We wanted to come back because the food was very good and the service, too. We were not dissappointed; glad that we made the right decision

Unfortunately we were very underwhelmed with our visit to Bistro Elba on Sat evening 19/8. We were a group of 4 ladies away for a weekend in Sorrento & after a beautiful meal out on the Sat night. Mostly the meals were ok? After reading the reviews, we were expecting a lot more - especially for the price. The prawn entree was tasteless & the prawns were chalky? The cheese soufflé was ok? Our cocktails were not great, which was disappointing. The service was ok, our waitress was friendly. We had a staff “service” station placed on a bench behind our table & 1 of my guests was being continually jostled & bumped by the staff coming in & out for cutlery & glasses?? She was being apologised to every time but seriously? It was a bit of a joke. We ended up moving our table & chairs over towards the wall more to stop it. Steaks were good…. But I’ve had much better. I’m not sure I would recommend after our experience, especially when you’re paying $$$$

Cafe Elba is a favourite and we enjoy returning for many family events. The service is always spot on and the food delicious. We will be back again very soon.

Really enjoyed our meal at Bistro Elba. Would definitely recommend. We plan to dine here again.

Great food, lovely wine and stunning ambience. The noise level did increase when the Matilda’s won the quarter finals!! Overall great experience

Food was good except for the celery/apple salad that accompanied our soufflés which was way too salty ! Wine list was extensive but expensive.

Absolutely superb, world class food. The beef Bourgogne was to die for. Service was excellent and attentive, authentic and warm. This place is a hidden gem of outstanding quality.
