    This was a delight dinner stop before a show at the Anthem. Great food, service, and ambiance. Highly recommend.

    Everything delicious! One note- the gougeres were not as good as previous visits. Seems the chef has changed the recipe. That aside we had a lovely dinner on the enclosed patio on a rainy night.

    Overall it’s a four for me. Food wise a little expensive for what you get but the food was good though. Our waitress was fantastic. I can’t recall her name, and that’s so sad because she was a delight and had great recommendations. The ambience was so nice. It felt warm, nice and pleasant. Value wise it’s a little expensive by quality of the food and the amount you get. I’d go again though.

    Overall the food and service was great. The hostess seemed to be bothered when we asked to be seated outside rather than inside, even though there was plenty of open seating.

    We had a wonderful dinner. We ate outside, and it was just magical with the twinkly lights and the harbor. The food was delicious—the service was thoughtfully attentive(Sarah Lyn) and we got to do the wine tasting! We had the gougeres, garlic bread, pate, salad, soup, coq au vin, bouillabaisse…even the chocolate cake. Well paced and never overwhelming. We just kept eating! 💖

    Good food and experience once again. We were going to a show at The Anthem and Bistro Du Jour was pretty much "just right". Good food, not crazy, and paced out where we could enjoy dinner and make the show without being either rushed or having too much time after our meal.

    Had a great dinner before a show at The Anthem. Great location and fast service. The waitress was super friendly and had good suggestion. Everything was super tasty!

    Wonderful brunch options. They willingly went off menu to accommodate our beverage choices. We ordered two apps and two brunch entrees and everything was authentic and perfectly prepared and seasoned. Their in-house bread options reminded us of Paris bakery options. Will eat here again next time we're in Alexandria.
