Whether you are having a staycation at the Wharf or are visiting from out of town, Bistro Du Jour is a perfect breakfast/brunch option! The food is delicious and never disappoints. Service is also exceptional.

The lady at the reception was not helpful when checking in said there were others checkin before when we arrived for our reservation. Told we would be called so we went to the bar. Had to ask about seating after seeing many seated already. They didn’t call us. When they tried to rectify and seat us right away we had chips guac and drinks from the bar area. The waiter that was going to seat us just walked away and acted surprised when we weren’t behind him because we couldn’t carry the app and drinks. Told the bar tender who said he got us and then proceeded to talk to his friend. Ended up walking our own stuff over. Saving grace was the young lady with glasses that served us who was incredibly sweet and a wonderful server. The staff should take notes from her to create a better experience

The bread and the quiche were amazing. The steak was just ok, a bit too fatty for me. My friend enjoyed her onion soup and the salmon. Drinks and service were great as well.

Never had a salad Nicosia in a French restaurant with canned tuna (for $23). Bread was toasted (I assume because it was stale). Underwhelmed

I was almost dissuaded from visiting Bistro Du Jour by their average ranking on Yelp but I'm so glad I went! It's a beautiful restaurant with an outdoor covered patio that has a view right to the water. It was not crowded on a Friday afternoon and we were seated right away. The iced coffee was great and the omelette was delicious- light and fluffy and cooked perfectly. This is a great place to take visiting friends and family. All of this in DC for $30 felt like a steal!

I really enjoyed both of the times I went there. It’s a nice place for both friendly catch ups or double dates. The food was delicious and the service was really good. However it is a little pricey.

Wonderful Food and terrific service. Our waiter, Kaleb R, was excellent and knowledgeable. Food was very well prepared and authentic. The only thing not too authentic were the escargot de Bourgogne. They were not served back in the shell, but in a small tureen. Flavor was good but I found the dish to be over cooked. We sat outdoor, good atmosphere, clean, fast service. Beware where you sit when the Sun is hot!!

Lovely experience, but the French toast was underwhelming given its price. The service was amazing, they brought my dog water and French fries 🤣. Already been back for breakfast meeting.

The food was delicious. The host was okay. I wish they asked if we wanted to be seated inside because not everyone wants to sit outdoors. Seating can feel cramped, as if you're right on top of your neighbor. The single bathroom had a constant line.

Our server, Dave, was one of the best ever. He was helpful with our order and extremely efficient and personable. We sat outside on a beautiful evening. The view and the people watching were just what we wanted
