Bistro di Marino is my kitchen. It’s where I get to do what I love and share it with all who pass through its doors. As you read this, we are busy in the kitchen pouring our hearts into our food. This is a love affair that goes back for many, many years and if you haven’t yet dined with us, consider this an invitation to experience four generations of my family in the place I call home. Made a reservation through Open Table. Reservation was confirmed online. Arrived to find out the restaurant was closed and had been closed for a month. Unacceptable. Turn off reservations.

This restaurant was closed. After speaking to the merchant next-door, I was told they closed down about a month ago . I do not understand why I was able to make a reservation and also receive a confirmation .

Did not appreciate going to your restaurant for my Birthday and it was closed. Sign on the door , we will reopen on September 17. Why wasn’t of this!! Why didn’t Opentable know this! Very frustrating. This shows me these owners don’t care about there patrons.

The restaurant was closed with a sign on the door stating that it would open the day before our reservation. Customers with reservations should have been notified by the restaurant or Open Table.

I have been here several times in Collingswood and the food and service has always been great. However when I made a reaervation last Thursday for my wife’s birthday, the restaurant was closed for maintenance and the sign said it was supposed to be open. I assume the maintenance issue started the day before. Understandable, but I received no call or notification. To me thats not acceptable and made us scramble last minute. Things happen, but a simple text or phone call is the expectation.

First off no bread until I asked after our meal came. 2nd- send my meal the way it's advertised on the menu. Asparagus is not spinach. "Vitello Saltimbocca (4) 30.95 Veal medallions topped with prosciutto & fresh mozzarella in a sage white wine sauce over fresh spinach sauté. " gnocchi were not great. DO NOT RECOMMEND.

We went to dinner at 5pm tonight (Saturday). The restaurant was empty besides ourselves and 1 other couple. The music was very loud with 50’s rock and roll music (tutti fruity and more like it screaming above us, perfect for grilled cheese and soda or burger and beer joint but not a nice dinner out!). I politely asked our waitresses if they could please turn the music down a little which never happened. After the 3rd request and now feeling sick from a headache she told me it was the manager who was refusing to do so. At the 3rd request I locked eyes with him and said “if you want us to leave we will, just wrap up our food”. He came to our table and argued the point that the music is “fun” and once the crowd comes in the sound will level out and that he can’t just lower it for us…note, we were 2 of 4 people in the entire restaurant! I asked that he lower it now and when the crowd gets here which will be long after we leave turn it up. He continued to argue the point and it was obvious he had no concern for us, his current customers. My husband at that point had heard enough and told them to wrap our food to take home. We paid our bill and tipped out waitress fully as this was not her fault. She expressed her apologies and it was clear she was embarrassed by her managers behavior and poor judgment. Maybe they won at that moment as we paid fully for a dining experience we did not receive but we will NEVER return to Bistro DiMarino Marlton and we will spread the word of our experience. Shame on that Manager, he should be replaced!
