Bistro Casanova is smooth, elegant, exquisite and fun. A tropical landscaping refreshes the air surrounding the outside al fresco tables. Bistro Casanova offers Mediterranean fare, its roots coming from the Cinque Terre in Italy where the owner comes from. Its menu reaches some classic of the European cuisine: Paella for two, Cioppino, Focaccias, Grigliata plates of grilled meat or fish large enough to share, prime cuts of steaks are between the favorites, next to an excellent selection of pastas and fresh salads. Locally grown ingredients are used extensively, as well as the freshest fish from Maui's ocean. Bistro Casanova is a favorite for Happy Hour relaxation, watered by specialty martinis and carafes of mojito and margaritas.
Tapas (available after 4pm) can be a tasty complement to your drinks, an opening line for your dinner, or dinner itself. At dinner, Bistro Casanova is a romantic destination for meals before a show or the perfect stop before flying out of Maui.

Our server, Edward, as always, provided us with excellent service. He is both extremely caring and professional. He greeted us and proceeded with the daily special as he acknowledged that we are familiar with the menu and he personally served us on other occasions. We ordered the usual angel hair pasta and it was phenomenal with just the right balance of pine nuts, garlic, tomatoes, spinach and Parmesan cheese. The quality serving remained hot throughout lunch. This is a perfect if you seeking a light, satisfying meal.

We eat here often when in Kahului. My wife has celiac and they have always taken excellent care of her. Good Happy Hour too.

had a lovely meal with my girlfriend and it was very very nice. The service was excellent. Riley was my server and he was charming and good at what he did.

We stopped for a late supper prior to our red eye out of Maui. The restaurant is close to the airport as was a perfect place to have a nice meal before our flight. The food, wine, service and value were all excellent. We would highly recommend.

Convenient Kahului location with ample parking. Wait staff was very attentive without hovering. Happy hour drink menu was very reasonably priced, and available in the dining room during our early dinner. Plenty of food, well priced.

Dining at Bistro Casanova has never let me down. Comfortable in both setting and cost, Bistro Casanova fits the bill for just about everyone’s palate. My friend and I chose the Paella, the size of which is shareable. This dish is filled with offerings from the land and sea, atop a bed of flavorfully seasoned saffron rice in a taste bud satisfying red sauce. The 1/2 carafe of Chianti wine was a perfect pairing and just the right amount, as was the complimentary (when ordering from the full menu) basket of fresh,y baked, warm from the oven ciabatta bread. The outdoor seating we chose was ideal as well.

Amazing as usual! My favorite is the mushroom linguine pasta with blackened chicken.

Food OK, service was terrible. Waited nearly 25 minutes for Calamari appetizer. We asked for cocktail sauce or marinara sauce. They didn't have cocktail sauce and would charge $1.50 for marinara sauce - really?? Caesar salad as well as ravioli were non-descript. Waited 20 minutes for the bill after asking for it. When we left, there were only 3-4 tables occupied, so not sure why we couldn't get the bill in a timely manner. Won't be going back

I reserved a table for dinner on a Saturday night. The photos make it seem like it's got nice, Italian restaurant ambience. We should have known when we walked in and the music was too loud. 7pm dinner, waitress tells us she can't offer bread because there are only dried ends remaining. My husband's spinach salad had 3 beet slices and 3 half strawberries and was overpriced for the small portion he was served. Usually, salads have plenty of greens and toppings. On a positive note, the eggplant was good. Overall, a disappointing dinner. There are better options, I'm sure.
