Bistro Casanova is smooth, elegant, exquisite and fun. A tropical landscaping refreshes the air surrounding the outside al fresco tables. Bistro Casanova offers Mediterranean fare, its roots coming from the Cinque Terre in Italy where the owner comes from. Its menu reaches some classic of the European cuisine: Paella for two, Cioppino, Focaccias, Grigliata plates of grilled meat or fish large enough to share, prime cuts of steaks are between the favorites, next to an excellent selection of pastas and fresh salads. Locally grown ingredients are used extensively, as well as the freshest fish from Maui's ocean. Bistro Casanova is a favorite for Happy Hour relaxation, watered by specialty martinis and carafes of mojito and margaritas.
Tapas (available after 4pm) can be a tasty complement to your drinks, an opening line for your dinner, or dinner itself. At dinner, Bistro Casanova is a romantic destination for meals before a show or the perfect stop before flying out of Maui.

As expected, the food was delicious we had the lamb chop tapas, and the salmon pizette. Our waiter Riley was exceptionally helpful and professional. We told him we had a show to get to and he had our food come out really fast. Check out the happy hour spicy margarita. It’s delicious and bargain. It comes in a carafe for one and it’s only seven dollars! I think Casanova is the best restaurant in Kahului. Mahalo.

One of us had the spinach ravioli and she said it was delicious. It was the perfect size meal for her. She did use some of the foccacia bread to soak up the remaining sauce. We had the mauka dish which had a variety of grilled meats with some roasted potatos and asparagus. That was a big dish and my husband and I shared it. Perfect for someone doing the carnivor diet! The chicken breast was tasty and moist. The lamb chop was delicious with the marsala and mushroom sauce. The steak was done perfectly rare, but warm.

Excellent food and service. We forgot to take photos but the ravioli was fantastic…I had it with lemon butter sauce instead of tomato sauce. Meat balls, linguini with chicken snd the chicken sandwich were all hits. Iced tea was fresh brewed and strong, and the cream brûlée was perfection. The value was perfect. Couldn’t have been happier.

First time there, great experience! The food was sensational and Edward our waiter was top notch!! He is a professional waiter, he knew his stuff and had such a great attitude. The Mango margarita was terrific. We will be back!!

Our server was outstanding - warm, attentive and efficient. Compared to the last time we dined there, it has improved tremendously. The greeter was also very warm and friendly.

Ordered their fresh catch, recommended by our waitress. A snapper (which I had never heard of before!) and it was excellent! Very impressed with the lunch offerings…we have had many dinners and happy hours there, but am now a huge fan of their lunch offerings as well! Was also pleasantly surprised and grateful for their percentage contributions to benefit Wildfire Recovery efforts when we dined there on the 8th. Bravo.
