Sitting near the bar was a great choice for our party of four. Our waiter Frank was great! The salmon and sea bass were cooked perfectly. The hamburger and rib-eye were spot on as well. The best part was either the old fashioned or the espresso martini; take your pick! Oh; and the butter cake dessert was Amazing!

2nd year we have gone here for anniversary dinner/ this year specially requested no bar seating due to casual atmosphere last year. So instead we were seated in the hallway en route to the bar next to a kitchen doorway and the restroom. Not romantic . Food is good, drink menu extensive , great egg roll appetizer . Frankly once again the standout item was the by-now legendary butter cake served warm with ice cream, whipped cream and berries .

Food was good - some items were extremely pricey (ex filet = 61.00??) which seemed extremely high for the environment and atmosphere - server was extremely attentive and pleasant, ensuring drinks were never empty and pace of meal was nice. While we were waiting to be sat, both my husband and I noticed that the hostess appeared to be less than happy or pleasant either in greeting patrons or in moving through the restaurant. Being the greeter and patrons first contact, is really a key component for a positive experience. This was our first time eating here so it was our first impression. Quality of food was good, french dip was delicious and the cheeseburger was one of the best. Chicken tortilla soup had great flavor and was delicious. We will give it another try but really put off by the price of the steaks.
