Chef Stelian and Maria teamed up years ago when both discovered their passion for hospitality. For years they have been working together in several establishments and made them successful through their continuous dedication to customer service, and fresh food cooked from locally sourced supplies.
Their passion is expressed through their commitment to delivering excellent customer service in a homely environment.
Chef Stelian started out working alongside great Chefs including Gordon Ramsay. He developed his career over 15 years by delivering his passion on the plate. He`s furthered his development by doing an internship in France in one of the most highly reviewed restaurants once owned by Bernard Loiseau.
Maria built her career as the Front House Manager working in collaboration with Chef Stelian to deliver excellent customer service by showing continuous care to the customers.

Their aim is to deliver high standard food and service for the community suitably for everybody’s taste.

A small but very smart and pleasant Bistro in Stanmore with an excellent quality of food and friendly and attentive service in relaxed atmosphere. We will defintiely come back. The deconstructed cheesecake was a new experience!

My husband had a veggie breakfast which was completely dried out and the fried eggs were hard. We had mushroom soup which was delicious but the bread served with it and with the sandwiches etc were so thick It was impossible to get your mouth around a sandwich like that. . Not a pleasant experience. We won’t be returning.

We've been visiting Bistro 101 regularly for over a year now, and it's our absolute favourite restaurant (and the best restaurant locally). Maria and Chef Stelian have created a truly special local gem. The food is always top-class (we've just enjoyed a delicious Sunday Roast to celebrate Father's Day). The service is friendly, and it's excellent value for the quality of food. We always look forward to our visits.

This is a small restaurant where the food is excellent & good value. However, on the night we went, it was very busy with some largish groups and we felt service suffered slightly as a consequence. Would go back as throughly enjoyed the food.

The roast beef was amazing and lovely vegetables with it. Great value. Lovely desserts. Very enjoyable.
