One of Houston’s original restaurants, Birraporetti’s opened in 1974 with the slogan “A great Italian Restaurant…A heck of an Irish bar.” For almost 40 years, Birraporetti’s has been the place to gather on a date, celebrating with friends and family, for happy hour or before or after the theater.
We are noted for our award-winning stone oven pizzas, pastas such as lobster ravioli, & delicious main courses including hand-carved beef filet & fresh seafood. And don't leave without trying our signature Frozen Bellini’s, Irish Coffee, chocolate chip cheesecake, tiramisu, or the berries & cream.

Animation
Every Saturday and Sunday night, Birraporetti's features live music and entertainment into the wee hours of the night. Live jazz is also featured during Sunday brunch. Occasionally there is music during the week as well.

This was the perfect restaurant for Christmas Day. Beautifully decorated and cozy atmosphere. The food was delicious.

The food was fantastic. Our main issue was the service. Was very slow, had to ask repeatedly for the same thing. We never got refills on original water. When the meal was delivered, wife requested another bar drink and we were completely finished eating when it finally came. Just not a good experience this time.

My party of three had evening tickets to The Nutcracker ballet so made 6:00 pm reservations for dinner at Birraporetti's. We arrived 20 minutes early so I expected to wait for our table but we were seated right away. Our waitress was amazing and our food was fantastic! One person had pasta with shrimp while the other two EACH ordered the large (appetizer) seafood platter as our entree. Yes, two platters for two people. Everything on the platter - grilled shrimp, crab cakes, and fried calamari was cooked to perfection! Their seafood sauce (like tartar sauce but better!) was delicious as always. Then after the ballet we came back for dessert and coffee. I had the tiramisu, one person had creme brulee, and the third had cheesecake. They were all delicious! Could not recommend this restaurant more!

The food was great, but it took a really long time to get it. Our server forgot to bring us our soft drinks that we ordered. When I asked for the check and she brought it, she told me that she would take the soft drinks off. She DIDN’T. We had a show to go to, so I didn’t have time for her to issue me a refund. Very disappointed in the service. Don’t know that we will go back.

Though the place was crowded, with a reservation, we were seated right away. The food was delicious and the service was excellent. We were in and out in about an hour
