Established in 2010 by Tim Reinke and John Sharp, the Birdsall House quickly became a destination for craft beer and locally sourced cuisine (some from our own garden!) in the Hudson Valley. Chef Sturgess Spanos, a French-trained veteran, showcases his talent and flair for innovation, which compliment the gastropub's beer-centric beverage program. The Birdsall House Beer Garden opened in 2011 offering patio dining and picnic tables for groups to congregate and socialize over a pint. We look forward to your visit.

                                                            Brunch here is really great, they have very creative breakfast items along with a full lunch menu and an included mimosa, or craft beer. What a nice treat, this place has a cool artsy vibe with an outdoor garden if the weather is nice. Highly recommended!

                                                            Staff is very welcoming and friendly but poorly trained. Our server tried very hard and was lovely but service was frustrating. However, it was clear it was not their fault. Food was good, we were offered a taste of a beverage to see if we liked it before ordering, which was a nice touch. French fries were great. I would give it another try.

                                                            Fun vibrant place that had live music the night we had dinner. Dinner options were great, burgers to ahi tuna. My only complaint was that the beer was a bit over priced.

                                                            Great night on the early side at the Birdsall. Made a reservation at the last minute and glad we did as it started to fill up pretty early. Calamari salad - delish. Split a good burger - amazing fries! Nice wine by the glass and great service - So nice to have such a great spot in Peekskill! Looking forward to nice weather to sit in their great outdoor space - a rarity in the area.

                                                            Very enjoyable evening. Soup was just ok. Everything else was excellent especially Pedro’s homemade bread pudding!!!! To die !!!!! Nicolette our waitress was adorable.
