Easily the best meal I have had in Milwaukee. One dish on the tasting menu was the best thing I have ever eaten in my life. Hopeful to go back again. Service was great as well! I received a birthday card that many employees signed, that was a real special surprise.

Third French Bistro popup was excellent! Food, wine and service were excellent! Our party of four enjoyed the entire experience.

Extraordinary, as always. No other restaurant like it in Milwaukee. Elegant, sophisticated, delicious dishes. Perfectly sized portions. Professional, friendly service. Absolutely killer wine list, with a nice selection of classics alongside fun, funky wines. Don't miss the cocktails, either. Birch is just so good I can barely justify going elsewhere.

We were very disappointed by our experience at the CASSIS pop up at Birch. The food was mediocre at best. The chicken paillard was thick and dry and had an overpowering pan sauce. The salad that accompanied it was also way over dressed. The scallop entree came with only two scallops and was served in a very unappetizing luke warm soup. A bright spot was the crouque monsieur and the smoked trout appetizers. Hopefully they will work out the kinks but they need to figure out the basics of french cooking before they open a french restaurant.

Birch is a dining experience! We had the tasting menu with wine pairings. The food was creative and delicious. Wine pairing was perfection. Definitely a great special occasion spot!

Loved the tasting menu once again outstanding presentation and flavors. Unique because you get to try special foods. Ty’s service was awesome!

Birch never fails to deliver an amazing dinner and overall wonderful experience. The food is beautifully presented and delicious. Each person we interacted with was extremely warm and pleasant. Highly recommend.

My wife and I are big fans of Birch, which is why we dined here on Valentine’s Day. We sat at the chef’s counter and really enjoyed the experience from beginning to end. It’s easy to see why Chef Knall is a 2025 James Beard nominee for best Chef Midwest. The GM at Birch is so personable and acknowledges us on every visit. It’s no wonder his staff is so helpful and courteous. Book your reservation with confidence.
