The Biltmore Bar & Grille is a modern American restaurant in Newton, MA with a longstanding history. No corporate restaurant chain or Hollywood set designer could ever recreate The Biltmore Vibe.
In 1914, the Biltmore opened and served up breakfast and brew at 7AM for the overnight crews from nearby factories. It came with a 4 lane basement bowling alley that was a local hangout for decades.
There was talk of a speakeasy during prohibition. The Biltmore was across the street from a regional rail stop and often hosted private events for dignitaries, politicians and celebrities.
Much of original brick front and interior has remained the same over the many reincarnations of this legendary bar. The original old growth wood flooring has stood up to many timeless celebrations as well. Celebrating this neighborhood legend while serving up fresh new takes on classic dishes and drinks is what The Biltmore is all about.

Biltmore only keeps getting better. I'm looking forward to when they do something with the historic speakeasy area that's closed.

We love going to the Biltmore for trivia, food and drinks on Tuesday nights. The service is excellent and and we always have a great time.

Fun trivia that you can be a part of while dining or you can just hangout with a drink and snacks while you play! Fried pickles and peppers were really tasty and service was great. Make a reservation if you go for trivia. Easily modifiable reservation too!

Great local IPA selection, great steak tips. It was Trivia Night, so was pretty loud inside but we moved to outside seating which was perfect. Very accomodating, friendly staff, this place has a very comfortable vibe.

We had a combo of lunch and brunch items. They recently changed the brunch menu so there new things to try. Absolutely delicious and our server Caroline was so nice and perfectly attentive. Atmosphere is casual with a slightly boho pub vibe. Can’t wait to go back again.

Food was just ok but on a 93 degree day turn on the a/c! So uncomfortable it was impossible to enjoy anything about the experience.

Great service from friendly staff. The Corned Beef Sliders and Cowboy Mac-n-Cheese were simply outstanding. Excellent value.

Very solid bar food. Wait staff seem super nice, but also seem to be managing too many tables. (We would have ordered another round of drinks if wait staff had a little more time to check in.) Overall, solid choice for a non-special-occasion dinner.

I don’t know what happened, but our food took forever to come out. There were three parties that were seated after us, and not only did they get served before us. They finished their meals before our food came out. Otherwise, the food is good quality and the price is reasonable. We were disappointed that the waitress gave no explanation, and made no attempt to rectify, and in fact, she came across quite surly when we inquired about why the food had been delayed so long.
