    A lovely brunch at Bill’s never fails to disappoint. Staff wonderful as always. To top It off birthday treat for me and free bottle of Prosecco for signing up to their mailing list.

    We booked table for four and arrived on time. We were sited at the nice table on the ground floor. My side of the table was not cleaned properly and I had to clean it myself. Food was very very average, I had aubergine with mozzarella /portion small, taste not was expected Three other people were not very happy as well. We had beer / it was ok. At the bill it stated that tip is 12.5 percent (optional). 12.5 % is too much !!!!! When we left I discovered that my trousers were all destroyed by chewing gum - what an upset . We will not go to Bills for some time

    Order taken promptly with lots of useful help from our lovely server. Food was excellent hot and as good as expected surprisingly quick but that gave us time to pop on to an event going on somewhere else in good time.

    The staf , ambience, food and whole experience was lovely and made our small celebration problem free and as enjoyable as we hoped it would be.

    This was our first visit to Bill's, and overall a pleasant experience. However, we were 1 of 3 tables, behind the payment booth, and our table was almost under the stairs. Our starter was very, very greasy and finally which may be a deciding factor on whether or not we return, was the very limited amount of alcohol free drinks available, mainly cider, which we normally have. Finally the service charge should not be added in advance, but state that it is discretionary.

    We visited bills as a walk-in as there was lots of availability on the open table app to book a reservation, thinking there was no need to book. We got turned away from bills with there’s no tables available until 8, which was a hour later. After leaving, We stood outside bills and booked a table via the app for 10 mins later and magically there was a free table even though stating there was no available tables as a walk-in so I advise if your wishing to eat at bills you book as we saw many people getting turned away as walk-ins even though there was availability to book. However, Bills food was excellent value for money and tasted great!

    Having reserved a table online and confirmed we were definitely going, we arrived to find we were not booked on the restaurants system. However a table was quickly found for us and we couldn’t fault the food and service. Both were excellent. As was also the position of our table which was in a quieter area so we were able to chat Our first visit to Bills in Norwich and will definitely return.
