We’re not supposed to be biased, but is there anywhere in the UK more beautiful than Devon? We think not (sorry not sorry). With cathedrals, canals and our very own Bill’s right at the heart (with a sunny outdoor seating area we might add), this place is a feast for the eyes and our food a feast for the belly *chef’s kiss*.

Food was delicious. Nice restaurant. Good service. Dishes are a bit dirty though.

Can’t fault the service, Will who was our server was outstanding. On this occasion though the steak was very tough, my partner had to send hers back and have something else. No problems with getting the alternative by the way. I persevered with mine but it’s fair to say that I’ve had much better cooked steak. Finished with cocktails - Banana Colada and Strawberry Margarita - and they were excellent.

Unfortunately we waited a very long time to receive our main courses which meant we couldn’t have dessert as we had to be somewhere else for 7.30pm. Twice we were told they were on the way but many others around us seemed to get their mains before we did. Very disappointed with the speed of service

Myself and my partner went on the 11th June for the unlimited pancakes. The service was amazing, staff very attentive. The pancakes were warm and fluffy and the clotted cream ice cream was incredible. Reasonably priced, you definitely get your moneys worth
