We’re not supposed to be biased, but is there anywhere in the UK more beautiful than Devon? We think not (sorry not sorry). With cathedrals, canals and our very own Bill’s right at the heart (with a sunny outdoor seating area we might add), this place is a feast for the eyes and our food a feast for the belly *chef’s kiss*.

On a short break in Exeter we visited Bills on the recommendation of a friend. We were not disappointed and found the food from the extensive menu to be very tasty and well presented. We had Roast Squash Hummus & flatbread and Calamari for starters, followed by Sea Bream and Fish Pie for mains and finished with Chocolate & Salted Caramel tart and Ice Cream selection for desserts. All were very tasty and much enjoyed!

Only issue with a dog friendly restaurant is when another customer has a very loud dog that barks for the entire meal and evening. Not relaxing or fun.

Not my personal favorite menu. I wound up choosing a classic hamburger to be on the safe side.

Enjoyed my meal with my family at Bill's in Exeter. Staff were friendly and attentive. Food was hot tasty and well presented. Recommended.

Can’t fault the service, Will who was our server was outstanding. On this occasion though the steak was very tough, my partner had to send hers back and have something else. No problems with getting the alternative by the way. I persevered with mine but it’s fair to say that I’ve had much better cooked steak. Finished with cocktails - Banana Colada and Strawberry Margarita - and they were excellent.
