My friend and I always choose Bill's for lumch. There's a wide variety on the menu and there's always a seasonal refresh as well as regular staples. Our meals were delicious!Service is of a consistently high level and was as usual both friendly and professional. Nothing is too much trouble. Thank you especially to Deryn.

I recently had the pleasure of dining here and was a delightful experience overall. The brunch food was excellent. The service was another highlight. The staff were attentive and friendly, making sure we were well taken care of throughout our meal. However, there were moments when the service felt a little rushed, as if they were eager to turn over tables quickly. While this didn’t significantly detract from the experience, a slightly more relaxed pace would have been appreciated. Despite that minor issue, the overall experience was fantastic. The warm atmosphere, combined with the quality of both the food and service, makes Bill’s Restaurant in Colchester a great choice for dining out. I’ll definitely be returning!

Bill's always delivers. Quick, efficient and friendly service, great food, lots of variety and very aware of allergies. Spot on.

Service was excellent and staff team very attentive. Food was good quality and tasty. I would have preferred choice of real ale but that personal preference. Restaurant was very quiet but it was early Thursday evening

Service was really bad this evening, darters brought up before drinks, main meals brought up when we still had our starter plates on the table, glasses not collected from the table. Food was ok, no one asked if our food was ok, couldn’t pay cash and wasn’t told it was card only when we were seated, really poor

Good was great. Everyone who worked there was really nice. It was my birthday this month and we got a free perk of a bottle of Prosecco. So would highly recommend going the month of your birthday 😂
