Service was excellent and staff team very attentive. Food was good quality and tasty. I would have preferred choice of real ale but that personal preference. Restaurant was very quiet but it was early Thursday evening

Service was really bad this evening, darters brought up before drinks, main meals brought up when we still had our starter plates on the table, glasses not collected from the table. Food was ok, no one asked if our food was ok, couldn’t pay cash and wasn’t told it was card only when we were seated, really poor

Good was great. Everyone who worked there was really nice. It was my birthday this month and we got a free perk of a bottle of Prosecco. So would highly recommend going the month of your birthday 😂

Our Polish host was very efficient and the food that we ordered was delivered in a sensible time. She also split the bill so we could all pay separately

Food was excellent however, there was limited choice for a vegetarian. A curry or salad, not good on a cold wet windy day, or the vegan burger. The desserts were outstanding and the staff charming and attentive without being pushy.

A characterful venue, staff all very engaging & swift to respond. Gluten free menu options were amazing, great variety & the options tried on this visit were quite delicious. Had some of a dish I couldn't manage to finish, but asked & was given a box to take the leftovers home & enjoy the rest later (less waste win). Will happily go back again & recommend to others.
