Legend has it that the idea for Big Moe’s Diner began in the heart of a man with a passion for classic American dining. He loved the taste of home-grilled burgers, hand-cut fries cooked to golden perfection, and thick, cool milkshakes slurped by straw. Equally important was for this to be enjoyed alongside good old fashion customer service, where you’re greeted at the door and served in your seat. But where could he experience this authentically without taking an expensive plane ride across the Atlantic Sea? Then the idea struck him.

Seeing that Britain lacked such a genuine classic US dining experience he set about recreating one of his own, and yup, Big Moe’s Diner was born. Night after night, with often nothing but the flicker of candlelight to guide him, he worked tirelessly to bring his plan together, sparing not even the tiniest of detail in recapturing the spirit and tradition of an authentic American Diner, straight out of the 1950’s.

Absolutely loved the breakfast here, it’s difficult to come across a brilliant halal restaurant for breakfast and this definitely broke the record for me! I’ll be back to try the lunch menu!

Very good service from all the staff and a busy lunchtime before a cup final. Food was good excellent choice and very quick no waiting around, nothing too much trouble. Will definitely be visiting again

Although we had booked for 10, they didn’t seem to know, staff lacked customer skills, food was good, long wait, had to try and wave at staff when we wanted to order something, just got put in a corner and seem to get ignored, no checking to make sure everything ok or if we needed anything :( xx

Great service - Very attentive, friendly staff. Food was good- although I had a very over priced salad with a few pieces of chicken - But I guess it’s all about the burgers and shakes which were much appreciated by my children!

Cold food, poor service, clearly spent their money on the aesthetics of the restaurant and not the quality produced. Absolutely shocking.

Very busy, weren’t ready for the reservations of 3 groups had to wait at front for over 10 mins before anyone came to see us. There was a show on at the arena and they said they knew about it but no extra staff. Waited ages for the bill but food was excellent and very tasty and filling. Would go again possibly in the day when it’s not as busy

I booked a table for 3 persons for dinner 10/1/20, we arrived 15 minutes early (17.15) but this was not a problem and got seated straight away, the waiting staff were very friendly, but from the moment we ordered (starter & main) it went drastically downhill from there, starters arrived in good time but we were not even halfway through our starters when the (I assume was the manager as he was dressed differently to the others) brought our mains over!, I promptly stated 'as you can clearly see we havent even got half way through our starters yet' and asked him to take them away, which he did, starters and the shakes were the only thing nice about the food, our mains then turned up shortly after we finished our starters, but the meat (chicken) were absolutely poor tasted like they were part cooked yesterday and finished off when needed, my daughter and I left most of our main, the restaurant started to fill and it started to become clear that lots of customers were either waiting to order receive their order or waiting to have their finished palates taken away, we waited 40 approx to have ours taken away!, I asked at one point 'do we have to take these to the kitchen ourselves?', it was almost out of control with only 3 waiting staff covering the whole restaurant which by this time was full and a other 20 or so customers at the door waiting to come in, 3 staff was never going to contain this, more and more customers were getting out of their seats and going up to the waiting staff regarding orders or wanting to order, with that amount of staff the manager should have closed off part section of the tables before opening so it was manageable, I went up to one of the staff member and told him that I have asked several times to have our plates cleared which has been approximately 30 minutes now and order dessert, again met with the same apology other customers had been told, in the end after waiting 40 minutes we had had enough, got the bill and left, never again!!

Really enjoyed. Good family atmosphere. Very tasty burgers and good portion size. It was a nice pre Christmas treat. Would definitely return.

In this day and age we should be open to all not just Halal, hence Chicken Rashers this isn’t ideal. Would keep away in future as food was tasteless
