Big Daddy’s Restaurant located in Massapequa, NY opened in 1993, specializing in the foods of New Orleans, Cajun, Creole and South. Often imitated, but never duplicated, Big Daddy’s remains the “Original Home of Southern Food & Moonshine.” The atmosphere is fun, casual and colorful which you will know as soon as you enter. The newly renovated bar features Louisiana swamp cypress and old time brick. Portions are big and so are the Hurricanes.

Our experience is usually very good. Last night they were off their game big time. Food not up to what we’ve had in the past and the service was atrocious.

Been over a decade since I was there but it was as awesome as I remember. Will definitely be back! Emily was such a pleasure as well.

We had a wonderful dinner for my boyfriend's 50th bday. The waitstaff was helpful with recommendations as to what to order. She was spot on!

The food was fantastic. We had the gumbo, mac n cheese with brisket, red beans and rice, and mufaletta salad. Everything was delicious. Loved the live music, which added great ambiance!

I ordered the pork and waffle. I hadn’t ordered this in a few years but it’s always so good and decadent. it’s loaded with pulled pork, crispy bacon and drizzled with maple syrup. A blanket of melted cheddar cheese completes the dish. It’s dinner with a taste of breakfast. Excellent!
