Big Daddy’s Restaurant located in Massapequa, NY opened in 1993, specializing in the foods of New Orleans, Cajun, Creole and South. Often imitated, but never duplicated, Big Daddy’s remains the “Original Home of Southern Food & Moonshine.” The atmosphere is fun, casual and colorful which you will know as soon as you enter. The newly renovated bar features Louisiana swamp cypress and old time brick. Portions are big and so are the Hurricanes.

unfortunately, we couldn't hear the music. next time we need to ask for a table closer to the front as a lot of talking near us. otherwise, great place

Bid Daddy’s food and ambiance never disappoints. It’s different than most traditional restaurants and the food complex with many delicious layers, never just ordinary.

Personally, this was my first time here and not only was the ambience incredible but the food was wonderful as well. My friends and I really enjoyed ourselves.

Bustling and very loud. The band that played was outstanding. Unfortunately we waited almost an hour for a 6:00 reservation. I think we will return but possibly go earlier say 5 o’clock. It’s very early for us to eat, however, everyone started pouring in at 6:30-730 and by the time we left, it was hard to get through the crowd that had accumulated in the entry and bar area. The weight staff was attentive, and the hostesses were lovely, but the long wait was annoying. We don’t really drink, but it looked like it’s the place to go for all those crazy New Orleans style bevy’s and signature cocktails like martinis and such. Again, I’m not saying the place is bad, not at all, it’s just the weight was annoying as we got there on time and we waited just way too long for a table for two.
