   My friend and I had a great dinner here. We especially enjoyed the aloko plantains and the fish with spicy coconut curry sauce (really good with white rice). I generally don't go for fancy cocktails, but I really liked their Fleur, composed of whiskey, ginger, and tamarind. Service was warm and gracious.

   This is one of my favorite restaurants in SF for enjoying North African food. I recommend that they consider having the Open Table reservations end at a time before the kitchen closes. We went on a Thursday and booked a 9:30 PM reservation to find that the kitchen was already closed. We did enjoy our Fluer drinks and the karaoke.

   There was only one other party in the restaurant that ordered food while we were there, although it was crowded for the soccer tournament. Nevertheless, our simple food order took almost 40 minutes, and we were told the kitchen was "backed up." Service was minimal. Dead flowers in the vase on the table. We hoped for flavorful ethnic food, but they were out of dishes (at 6 PM) and what we ordered was anything but worth the wait.

   I haven't been here in many years but had some old favorites like Mafe (w/ akata) and aloko plantains that just were not as good as I remember. They also has the Euro cup game on blast, which killed the ambiance for an intimate dinner. Friendly staff and a nice dance venue but the food was a disappointment.

   I made a reservation for dinner on Saturday night through Open Table for dinner. When I arrived, the bartender told me the kitchen closed at 9:30. I was disappointed and upset because I was anticipating eating and dancing. Honestly, a local hyped this place all the way up. By midnight, there may have been 20 people on the dance floor. I was very disappointed. The vibe was there but not the crowd. The music was alright but not the kind of Afro beats I'm used to.

   We came here after a graduation for a very special celebration. Excellent food, ambiance, service- so much fun! Even dancing in the next room.,We picked the right place!

   An incredibly fun and COOL space where one feels that they have traveled to another country. The help is extremely down to earth (which can be refreshing in SF some times!) and the atmosphere is great. Also, live music in the space next to the restaurant, which made for a really full evening. I hope this stays in the city for a long time to come because it adds so much to the Mission! (I have lived in SF since 1986 and miss many long gone establishments.)

    One of the few places in San Francisco where you can make a reservation for a large group without much fuss. In fact, we had a conference dinner there and there were actually two parties/large groups in the restaurant at the same time! Food is really good, unique even for San Francisco, and the people running the place are the nicest and really chill about last-minute changes and alterations. Highly recommended!
