The Bibendum Oyster Bar - a local stalwart - is steered masterfully under the direction of Lyon born 2 Michelin-starred chef Claude Bosi. The large tiled foyer of the great Michelin building remains, and it’s great for a glass of fizz and a few oysters (there are always many varieties to choose from), and also perfect to stay a bit longer for a more leisurely lunch or dinner.
Expect plenty of fresh seafood; oysters, langoustine and the signature seafood platters - alongside a comprehensive yet affordable wine list.

As well as dining inside the main "house", there are seats outside in the semi-open courtyard, and also in the prime spot of streetside on Fulham Road. If it does turn a little chilly, there are also some luxury blankets…

A lovely relaxing late Sunday lunch. Lovely oysters, great steak tartare, delicious trout we thought the Moules Mariniere need a little more cream & garlic, loved the Yurrita anchovies.

Beautiful fresh seafood and a very nice atmosphere too. Great surrounds in the old Michelin garage. Very different to ‘upstairs’ but still a lovely experience. Looking forward to coming back.

Great place for dinner but the food depends on your choice off the menu. I had the mussels which were the worst I have ever had. They smelt off and were dry and not juicy - the wine sauce was extremely dry. My dining companions had the ravioli which was lovely and fish&chips which were okay. The oysters were good too. The staff were lovely.

I hadn't been to Bibendum before and it had been on my list for a while. I love the setting and ambience and the food didn't disappoint. I was alone and the service was very efficient. I'd definitely go again.

The service was great. The staff surprised me by giving me a special treat to celebrate my birthday without prompting them. Definitely made the meal special.

I hadn't been to Bibendum Oyster Bar since Claude Bosi took over and was delighted that our meal was better than ever. We ate early evening before a Prom and service was friendly and highly efficient. Better still the food was superb. I had monkfish with radicchio and mirin sauce, perfectly cooked and gorgeous green beans with shallot confit. My partner had one of the best ever fish and chips with tempura light batter and superb chips. So good he wouldn't have minded a few more, especially as I pinched a big fat one. He liked to the trio of accompaniments, proper housemate tartare sauce, curry sauce and mushy peas. Desserts of a light layered trifle and very rich chocolate mousse made extra decadent with praline mixed in were excellent too. It wasn't clear that there is a cover charge of £2 per person for the bread and butter, but the warm bread was excellent so not too fussed. Beautifully executed cocktails too. A lovely experience. We will return.

Must try the seafood platter. Nice atmosphere especially the flower store. Wish it provide some souvenir of the Michelin house.
