The Bibendum Oyster Bar - a local stalwart - is steered masterfully under the direction of Lyon born 2 Michelin-starred chef Claude Bosi. The large tiled foyer of the great Michelin building remains, and it’s great for a glass of fizz and a few oysters (there are always many varieties to choose from), and also perfect to stay a bit longer for a more leisurely lunch or dinner.
Expect plenty of fresh seafood; oysters, langoustine and the signature seafood platters - alongside a comprehensive yet affordable wine list.

As well as dining inside the main "house", there are seats outside in the semi-open courtyard, and also in the prime spot of streetside on Fulham Road. If it does turn a little chilly, there are also some luxury blankets…

Best seafood in London without question. Setting also amazing in the art deco Michelin building and sitting outside with view of the flowershop makes it a must in London. Service also great and attentive; Bibendum Oyster Bar is a Chelsea institution, long may it live.

Fun setting in the old Michelin Garage, loads of character. Great Oyster’s but then they only had to purchase and shuck them. The salad had very average shrimp, the vegetables in the salad were underwhelming and it was overdressed in a mediocre dressing. Such a surprise coming from a starred restaurant kitchen just above on the second floor. The fellow next to me insisted to have his speaker phone on throughout my meal while negotiating some boring acting or dancing gig on his phone. Are there no more norms or courtesies enforced by restaurants any longer? If you want Champagne 🍾 and oysters, go here but then again neither were conceived in this establishment.

What a wonderful evening it was, quiet, peaceful relaxing. We are thank you to all the Bibedum team for outstanding service and welcoming you gave us. Special thanks to the chef, the food was delicious, beyond words can say. We are back for lunch, definitely. Ten out of ten 💯

Lovely building, but service and small touches could be better. For the price you're paying, I would expect things like, the servers to remember who ordered what, or for oysters to be properly shucked.

A lovely relaxing late Sunday lunch. Lovely oysters, great steak tartare, delicious trout we thought the Moules Mariniere need a little more cream & garlic, loved the Yurrita anchovies.

Beautiful fresh seafood and a very nice atmosphere too. Great surrounds in the old Michelin garage. Very different to ‘upstairs’ but still a lovely experience. Looking forward to coming back.

Great place for dinner but the food depends on your choice off the menu. I had the mussels which were the worst I have ever had. They smelt off and were dry and not juicy - the wine sauce was extremely dry. My dining companions had the ravioli which was lovely and fish&chips which were okay. The oysters were good too. The staff were lovely.

I hadn't been to Bibendum before and it had been on my list for a while. I love the setting and ambience and the food didn't disappoint. I was alone and the service was very efficient. I'd definitely go again.
