Bianca is a modern American restaurant and bar in Chestnut Hill that specializes in wood grilling, wood fire pizza, and a variety of dishes inspired by global flavors and cuisines. Bianca means a clean slate, a virtual white plate primed for delicious expression and ready to transport you to far off places. From classic dishes done with care to the truly unique, Bianca presents a luxe dining experience in a relaxed atmosphere that is as comfortable as our own homes. Owners Chef Tim Cushman and Restaurateur Nancy Cushman are the husband & wife team behind James Beard Award Winning o ya and Hojoko in Boston.
RESERVATION POLICY: If you need to cancel, notify 24 hours prior to your reservation to avoid a $15 per person cancellation fee. Children 12 & under must have an adult(18+) at the table.
A 20% gratuity will be added to all parties larger than 6.
Our patio is open seasonally. We do not take patio reservations, but will seat reservations at the next available patio table if requested.

    Always excellent food and a great location. Sometimes the music in the background is too loud and has an imprint upon conversation at the table. But I’ve always found this place to be an excellent restaurant with great employees. I highly recommend it

    We came as a party of five for our first dining experience there. All of us really enjoyed the decor, and the staff were extremely welcoming and knowledgeable. We picked a broad mix of appetizers, pizzas, and main dishes, and we were absolutely thrilled with each item. The food came out quickly and each one was truly delicious and crowdpleasing. The cocktails we ordered were also exceptionally delicious and unique. The only improvement I would suggest is that the waitstaff be more attentive to both taking orders promptly for the food part of the order, and then giving the check to a party that is clearly finished eating.

    We were seated in the “private room” - a long empty rectangular room with tables on the opposite walls. They seated people at 4 tables at opposite corners of the room with a huge space between them - not a flower or decoration anywhere, just 4 tables in an empty room. The actual restaurant is buzzing has a great vibe and is alive. To be honest my kitchen is a better option than the private room, one goes out for the ambiance as well as the food and all I can say it was depressing as hell. We booked on Wednesday for a Saturday night so it was not a last minute booking either.

    Hi Valerie, we want to apologize for your experience. I know the team tried night of as you expressed this to us as you were walking out the door, but of course it must have still been sitting wrong with you. The other guests in the room made comments of liking the quieter, separate space and your server thought you and your guest seemed very content and appreciative. I wish you would have said something as we could have moved you and would have of course! We normally use that space as over flow to the dining room on busier nights and we apologize that it didn't quite fill up again after a big party left shortly before your arrival. We have already made a note in your profile to never sit you in that space again and we hope you come back with that in mind so we can make this up to you.

    Unique food options, great atmosphere and an attentive staff. A perfect meal before a Boston College Hockey or Basketball game. I would highly recommend.

    It was our first visit and we were excited to try a new place... our food and service was not great. We ordered the wood grilled cauliflower appetizer and the spinach & artichoke appetizer, then for mains a Caesar Salad and Freebird Wood Rotisserie Half Chicken with a side of french fries. A half hour after placing our order the main Chicken entree arrived, with no french fries, a few minutes after that the Grilled Cauliflower appetizer came out, we had to flag down our waitress to ask for the french fries, to simply eat them with the main. The Artichoke appetizer arrived out, barley warm long after the chicken dinner. Finally after my husband was more or less done with his rotisserie chicken dinner the french fries came out. After we were done with the food that did come out, over an hour after placing our order I requested to cancel the Caeser Salad order because I was not going to simply eat my main alone when my husband was done with his. Shortly before asking for our check the Caeser salad arrived to which we declined, they offered it to us to go but we left it for the waitress. The food was ok, service was not great, no one checking in on how the food was never mind the complete lack of proper timing of what we ordered. Its a shame, maybe just an off night.
