SHARED PASSION
For owners Mishal and Sundeep, food has always been a way to bring families, friends and communities together, a way to celebrate life and share stories.
Mishal vividly remembers fragrant aromas and laughter filling the air at garden parties as her father cooked in huge pots over a coal stove. It was here that her passion for food began, inspired by her father’s experimental and creative dishes.
For Sundeep, it’s the childhood trips back to India and memories of eating fresh dhal and fluffy rotis at roadside cafes in Punjab that he savours most. The atmosphere, the aromas and the flavours all evoke a delightful sense of coming home.
And it is his innate understanding of the link between food and celebration that helped Sundeep build a successful banqueting business in the heart of North West London.
It’s this passion, this emotional connection and joy for eating that the couple now bring to Bhageecha.
Friday and Saturday after 7pm, kids under the age of 10 aren't allowed

Overall fairly good food & service but pricey compared with their competitors & a hefty service charge. Portions are the smallest I have come across compared with other establishments. Overall satisfactory but not somewhere I would visit regularly. Definitely recommend it if you have not been before !

our repeat visit, really great menu, the moilee fish curry was amazing so was butter chicken

Thanks to Amit and Prem our exporter de was very good. High chai was booked for missus birthday, chai was so good that we could have easily ended up on a second pot! My only reservation was my actual booking which I clearly stated to be in the glass house part of the restraint however on entrance was told they were clearing up from a wedding engagement, but nothing was communicated which was poor from management perspective as this should have been a priority and probably would have sat better with me on the day, non the less all the as well.

This is a lovely restaurant. The interior decor is very tasteful and well thought out. The menu has the Indian classics as well as Desi Street Food and specials. I had the Kerelan Fish curry which was delicious for mains. The food was delightful. We’ll definitely be back.

Really great food and wonderful environment but it felt a bit of a struggle to get focus from the serving team, initially. Thankfully later in our visit we had better attention from a great waitress.

Hadn’t been for a while- you need to book reasonably far ahead- and the food/service was immaculate! It’s very noisy when the restaurant is full but it was lovely and quiet when we were the last ones left!!! Stunning decor and delicious food- should definitely treat yourselves!

It was very poor and rubbish service. We had booked a table, didn’t get the correct table - they said it’s first come first serve. We booked the palm area and got seated in a different area. Asked to move but they said they aren’t any tables but they were. We waited 10/15 mins for someone to come to us in the end as no one was available at all to get the bill until we had to get up and ask another waiter It was our anniversary and had requested a dessert plate but didn’t get it all even when asked to staff. We left without it. Rubbish service. Too loud and full. Noise level was too much as a big group of loud people sitting next to us - we were not even supposed to sit there - what is the point of us booking for a specific area - get rid of that in your booking. Food was okay but doesn’t stick to what we order we ordered masala papad and just got plain and they said it’s with masala. Pricey food and would not go again.

Hi Prerna, Our apologies for your experience. We take note of preference of seating, and plan our service to ensure this is met. However on occasions, this cannot be met and seating is managed in alternative locations. Tables are planned and reserved based on booking sizes and timings, an empty table upon arrival doesn't necessarily mean it is available there and then. All tables were fully booked, and the restaurant was fully busy during your visit. Our ambience is generally energetic and lively, we do agree that on the day of your visit the atmosphere was more livelier than usual. Our sincerest apologies for the dessert plate, again a rare situation as our guests are entertained and made to feel welcome. We would love to invite you back and deliver the expected service.
