SHARED PASSION
For owners Mishal and Sundeep, food has always been a way to bring families, friends and communities together, a way to celebrate life and share stories.
Mishal vividly remembers fragrant aromas and laughter filling the air at garden parties as her father cooked in huge pots over a coal stove. It was here that her passion for food began, inspired by her father’s experimental and creative dishes.
For Sundeep, it’s the childhood trips back to India and memories of eating fresh dhal and fluffy rotis at roadside cafes in Punjab that he savours most. The atmosphere, the aromas and the flavours all evoke a delightful sense of coming home.
And it is his innate understanding of the link between food and celebration that helped Sundeep build a successful banqueting business in the heart of North West London.
It’s this passion, this emotional connection and joy for eating that the couple now bring to Bhageecha.
Friday and Saturday after 7pm, kids under the age of 10 aren't allowed

Hadn’t been for a while- you need to book reasonably far ahead- and the food/service was immaculate! It’s very noisy when the restaurant is full but it was lovely and quiet when we were the last ones left!!! Stunning decor and delicious food- should definitely treat yourselves!

It was very poor and rubbish service. We had booked a table, didn’t get the correct table - they said it’s first come first serve. We booked the palm area and got seated in a different area. Asked to move but they said they aren’t any tables but they were. We waited 10/15 mins for someone to come to us in the end as no one was available at all to get the bill until we had to get up and ask another waiter It was our anniversary and had requested a dessert plate but didn’t get it all even when asked to staff. We left without it. Rubbish service. Too loud and full. Noise level was too much as a big group of loud people sitting next to us - we were not even supposed to sit there - what is the point of us booking for a specific area - get rid of that in your booking. Food was okay but doesn’t stick to what we order we ordered masala papad and just got plain and they said it’s with masala. Pricey food and would not go again.

Hi Prerna, Our apologies for your experience. We take note of preference of seating, and plan our service to ensure this is met. However on occasions, this cannot be met and seating is managed in alternative locations. Tables are planned and reserved based on booking sizes and timings, an empty table upon arrival doesn't necessarily mean it is available there and then. All tables were fully booked, and the restaurant was fully busy during your visit. Our ambience is generally energetic and lively, we do agree that on the day of your visit the atmosphere was more livelier than usual. Our sincerest apologies for the dessert plate, again a rare situation as our guests are entertained and made to feel welcome. We would love to invite you back and deliver the expected service.

Lovely restaurant… well decorated and very modern Liked that it had on site parking. Friendly staff and great customer service. Food was good. We had Pani Puri, veg & meat platters, bhindi kurkure, for starters. Then for main we had Amritsar Chana masala, chicken makhani, lamb Lal Maas, vegetable kofta, garlic naan and lacha parantha The food was very enjoyable. The cocktails were very tasty too. We found only two things we didn’t like. 1) the pani puri very hot and spicy. The texture of the pani was odd (had bits in it) and there was a lack of flavour in the puri no sauces and the mashed potatoes had no taste. 2) The laacha parantha was awful it was thick and hard and very doughy. We had to return it to the kitchen. Staff were excellent with dealing with this. And brought more garlic naan instead.

Service is awful. Too many things that could go wrong, went wrong. Order cocktails and they came after the meal was eaten. Waitress got our order wrong twice and was incorrectly charged on the bill. Had a similar experience a few years back and never revisited due to the service. Safe to say that we won’t be coming back.

Food and drinks were good, but the experience was marred by filty menus. These were kind of plastic but were sticky and stained!

Had a table booked for 2 people yesterday , did not get served for over 20 minutes. Plenty of staff around. Not busy at all. Only got served , when i walked to the bar to order a drink. Finally got to order some starters, Very disappointed, lack in taste in every think we ordered. Then we were rushed to order our main , as we were told that they were closing at 10.00pm. Again ordered but no taste. Drinks were taking over 20 minutes from order. Tables next to us , had the same problem, and had their bill reduced, as they complained about the food. Anyway paid the bill, but never again !
