Louisvillians need to discover this fabulous jewel soon. The food is fine and interesting without being overly creative. The carrots are carrots, and the salmon is generous and lovely with a bit of citrus influence. You can find anything on the duo menus covering fine dining downstairs and bar influence upstairs. The waitstaff is delightful and accommodating. The worst thing about the restaurant is that the napkins are those poly things that never picked up a drop of anything. So, in brief, it's fabulous for just about any occasion and time of day!

The Golden Old Fashioned was superb and actually having the Elmer T Lee not just sited on the menu but actually on hand was a delightful treat, thank you!

Was coming to louisville to celebrate my 35th birthday with friends and family I chose this restaurant because it had good reviews and I saw a few videos on instagram that made me want to come to this restaurant. Our hostess was Kevin and he was amazing made all of my group feel super special I will definitely come back to beyond the sun.

Massively overpriced menu (fried bar food essentially) and overwhelmed staff. Took 45 minutes to get a drink which we had to go and retrieve from the bar after looking at them for 10 minutes in the service station. Sounded like they had good music upstairs and they were busy- maybe they should stick to being a bar!

Lively, and Kevin was a great server. Too bad the food was way under Louisville standards, and the wine list is the worst in town. Will not return. So sorry, Kevin.

First of all this place is beyond amazing from the decor to the staff especially Kevin ! Kevin went above and beyond. It was my daughter’s 22nd birthday and Kevin made her feel very special !!!! He went above and beyond by adjusting her straps on her heels 🥰! The atmosphere was great!! The food was amazing we were a party of 11 with 2 young boys that Kevin picked up on their names immediately. I had the pasta with fried chicken strips a must try! Everyone else had ribs and fajitas and honey mustard chicken which was delicious. We also had an appetizer it was calamari and Octopus which was delicious! Kevin sung happy birthday with us and had the bubble gun which was great! Kevin was very knowledgeable about his job from food to drinks. This is a restaurant that you have to try !!! I will return and highly recommend!!

Overall the restaurant itself was alright. The food was good, and they gave you a good portion size for the price. Our waiter was very nice, always checking on us and has a banging singing voice! BUT, the parking was horrible! We had to park almost a block over and cross a busy highway to get to the restaurant. The sign of the restaurant needs to be bigger. Because it is tucked in between other establishments, it's hard to see the building when you are trying to drive and figure out where it was. Also, once the band started playing, it was hard for you to hear the conversations amongst your party at the table.
