These beautiful, historic rooms - located on the first floor of our Harrogate tea room- are steeped in history and provide the perfect setting for our most exquisite afternoon tea.

You'll be serenaded by our pianist as you enjoy a lavish selection of dainty sandwiches, specially selected teas and irresistible miniature cakes and scones.

The food, atmosphere and staff are all excellent, our waitress was very knowledgeable as were the other members of staff and cannot do enough to make your experience better.

Fantastic afternoon tea in the designated upstairs lounge at Betty's. The food was delicious, the service excellent and the ambience delightful. The piano playing was loud enough to be enjoyed and tunes recognisable but not intrusive. Staff were knowledgable and friendly, anticipating your need before you thought of it but discreet and unobtrusively available throughout. It was lovely and warm on a very cold winter's day and I would definitely go back!

A lovely experience in a beautiful setting. Vegans are catered for and the staff are so welcoming and friendly, the food was amazing and plentiful but if you wanted more they were happy to replenish. The vegan scone was so tasty and the ‘cream’ that came with it was so light and flufffy, highly recommend coming here.

Our first time in Bettys Harrogate and we were treated like royalty by the staff. Louis was our waiter and he was excellent. Food and drink was lovely and we’d certainly return!

The afternoon tea was exceptional, all aspects (quality of food, environment, quality of staff) made the whole experience something special to remember. Absolutely loved it.

Magical experience, loved it and will definitely be returning. My husband now refuses to eat unless there is a pianist in the corner.
