These beautiful, historic rooms - located on the first floor of our Harrogate tea room- are steeped in history and provide the perfect setting for our most exquisite afternoon tea.

You'll be serenaded by our pianist as you enjoy a lavish selection of dainty sandwiches, specially selected teas and irresistible miniature cakes and scones.

    Superb afternoon tea in the Imperial Room at Betty's. The food was delicious and there was a good selection of sweet and savoury items and plenty to eat especially with the replenishment of sandwiches. The service was great and the atmosphere was lovely with the pianist playing in the background

    It was good to be back at Betty's. We enjoyed it so much. The food delicious and service excellent. The background piano was not to loud and w were able to chat and thoroughly enjoyed our experience

    Really beautiful afternoon tea. Was not disappointed. Food amazing, staff really helpful. Had a wonderful time celebrating my birthday and was made to feel very special with a birthday cake and seranaded with birthday wishes by the pianist. Beautiful

    Felt like a real treat. Great value to be able to get additional sandwiches and unlimited hot drinks. Really good service and loved the optional kids afternoon tea.

    A great experience that you don't find in many other places. Elegant dining as it used to be. Good value too, as if you go late afternoon you certainly won't want anything else to eat for the rest of the day.

    We were celebrating my wife's birthday and I chose Betty's sort of knowing what to expect. I was kept in the loop by text a couple of days prior to arrival. The greeting was lovely and our waiter introduced himself in a very professional manner. Service was prompt and polite. The pianist helped to keep the atmosphere pleasant. And the overall ambience was thrilling. We were pampered throughout, even down to a little candle lit cake for my wife. It was a little expensive, but then fitting of the occasion.

    The whole experience was amazing❗ Would highly recommend to anyone who has an event to celebrate or even, as I did, just as a lovely treat❗ I couldn't manage to eat everything and was very kindly offered a beautiful Betty's cake box to take the rest home in - plus I was given a small Betty's box containing 2 delicious chocolates as a parting gift. ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL ❗
