These beautiful, historic rooms - located on the first floor of our Harrogate tea room- are steeped in history and provide the perfect setting for our most exquisite afternoon tea.

You'll be serenaded by our pianist as you enjoy a lavish selection of dainty sandwiches, specially selected teas and irresistible miniature cakes and scones.

    Quaint tearoom with genteel atmosphere. The staff are very attentive. We were very disappointed with the actual afternoon tea. It looked like a dolls tea and was not the quality we expected. The tiniest quiches and poor sandwich’s, although we were able to have more if wanted. Mean cream and jam with very small scones. Cake similar standard. We have had several afternoon teas elsewhere which have been much superior. Poor value for the money.

    Excellent service and ambience. Quality of food was less impressive although still good, did not wow. The suite is immaculate and Derry on the piano was exceptional.

    Goede ambiance. Vriendelijk personeel. Mooie gedekte tafels. Alles voldoende aanwezig. Mooi en vooral lekker eten.

    Champagne afternoon tea upstairs as a treat for my mum. Great experience, really friendly and efficient staff, lovely food with top-ups on request. Highly recommended.

    Superb afternoon tea in the Imperial Room at Betty's. The food was delicious and there was a good selection of sweet and savoury items and plenty to eat especially with the replenishment of sandwiches. The service was great and the atmosphere was lovely with the pianist playing in the background

    It was good to be back at Betty's. We enjoyed it so much. The food delicious and service excellent. The background piano was not to loud and w were able to chat and thoroughly enjoyed our experience

    Really beautiful afternoon tea. Was not disappointed. Food amazing, staff really helpful. Had a wonderful time celebrating my birthday and was made to feel very special with a birthday cake and seranaded with birthday wishes by the pianist. Beautiful
