"Betts" is a tribute to Elizabeth Schofield, wife of Captain Levi Schofield and our namesake. The space is cozy yet airy and feels like a mix between a restaurant and a very cool home that you’d happily want to reside in all day. Betts is inspired by American dishes we all know and love but reinvented with a thoughtful approach. The menu focuses on freshness, quality and whole foods put out from a predominantly scratch kitchen. It's easy to eat healthy here and it's just as easy to indulge- the menu has something for everyone.

Got a teriyaki bowl. Didn’t have all the ingredients, didn’t taste like teriyaki. No peanuts. Grilled chicken was burnt and dry. Husband got chicken. Very dry. Hamburger looked good. They did comp my bowl, so there is that. But at $25, it should be excellent. Good server. Unfortunately, will not go back.

Our second time dining there before a playhouse square show. Food overall creative and very good. Nice menu selections. All employees were super nice and friendly but waiter needed to check in more. Happy hour menu good too. But Make sure they know you need to get to show . Not quick there

Overall this was not a pleasant experience. Kitchen was extremely slow and took way too long for food to come out. Waiter avoided our table because food was taking too long. Manager was very apologetic and took full responsibility for the situation. Hopefully they will get the kitchen staff together because this isn’t the first time the food has taken a long time while it wasn’t busy in the restaurant.

We had a terrible meal. The food was kinda shockingly bad. The server made several errors and zero attempts to correct them. I will not be going again.

Excellent service and a great dinner before a concert! Particularly loved the cocktails and appetizers.

Had a reservation but arrived about 15-20 minutes early. They seated us right away. Food came fairly quickly. Wait staff was friendly and knowledgeable, but a little loose on clearing empty dishes for the number of times they checked in on how we were doing. I think there was an overcharge on our final bill with respect to a side salad… but the menu wasn’t written clearly on what came with a sandwich, so may have been my bad. I’d go again if I need to grab a pre- or post- game bite.

Unfortunately they are under staffed like most restaurants. Especially since the staff have to pay for their own parking downtown Cleveland up to $30 a day. How do they expect to keep a quality staff. Yet the people there are really working hard to keep it going.
