"Betts" is a tribute to Elizabeth Schofield, wife of Captain Levi Schofield and our namesake. The space is cozy yet airy and feels like a mix between a restaurant and a very cool home that you’d happily want to reside in all day. Betts is inspired by American dishes we all know and love but reinvented with a thoughtful approach. The menu focuses on freshness, quality and whole foods put out from a predominantly scratch kitchen. It's easy to eat healthy here and it's just as easy to indulge- the menu has something for everyone.

Ambiance is great food is mediocre for the price. Nothing special, truffle mac and cheese, didn't taste of truffle at all. The chicken and waffles dish was nothing to rave about nothing above average diner food.

Good evening, Raquel, I wanted to respond to your review. I am not happy that you did not enjoy yourself at Betts to the standard that we expect, with the exceptions being ambiance and service. I do apologize that we did not deserve to rate higher. I will speak to our Chef regarding the food. We strive to serve great food to all of our guests, and we did not do so in your case. Just so you know, we do various specials through the week. For example, on Wednesdays for lunch and dinner we have the majority of our bottles of wine at half price. Perfect location for theatre-going, heading to a game - Progressive Field or Huntington Bank Field - or the casino. Located in the lobby of a hotel. Table was ready just a few minutes after our reservation time. We were greeted quickly and cordially. Food was tasty and decent-sized portions.

First visit, ate outside on a busy Saturday night in downtown Cleveland before our concert at Rocket Mortgage Fieldhouse. The location was perfect walking distance from both our hotel and the concert. Simple, but effective menu. Food was very tasty and prepared perfectly. Nice draft beer menu. Service was great, from our waiter and the General Manager. Definitely pleased that we dined at Betts.

Food is wonderful… service was awful. Waitress was great but took an hour plus to get our food and the hostess made us wait to sit down even though they had open tables.

Sunday Brunch at Betts before the Browns game was our best choice of the day! Our server Quinn was super friendly and engaging. The restaurant crowd was lively but not jam-packed and the manager gave us a nice seat by the window. We got served a lot quicker than anticipated so that's always a bonus! Coffee was great and freshly brewed. I chose the Bodega Sammie which was filling but not overly heavy. The boursin cheese, quite honestly, elevates the sandwich! My husband had the Betts breakfast (with extra eggs) and he even had trouble finishing it. Topped off our visit with an Angel's Envy and a most delicious espresso martini. Overall, a tad expensive for what we ate, however, it's average for a downtown location (especially with drinks added) and still cheaper than eating at Browns stadium. We'll be back!

Amazing experience on Labor Day for my boyfriend’s birthday! Hot honey chicken sandwich is to die for! Grilled cheese and soup when it’s brisk weather YUM! Delicious all around! Host was wonderful and server even more fantastic! Best brunch I’ve had downtown! Sat on the patio with my pup she got some grilled chicken too! 5 stars! Music playing outside coming from the 9 and it was great!
