"Betts" is a tribute to Elizabeth Schofield, wife of Captain Levi Schofield and our namesake. The space is cozy yet airy and feels like a mix between a restaurant and a very cool home that you’d happily want to reside in all day. Betts is inspired by American dishes we all know and love but reinvented with a thoughtful approach. The menu focuses on freshness, quality and whole foods put out from a predominantly scratch kitchen. It's easy to eat healthy here and it's just as easy to indulge- the menu has something for everyone.

Amazing experience on Labor Day for my boyfriend’s birthday! Hot honey chicken sandwich is to die for! Grilled cheese and soup when it’s brisk weather YUM! Delicious all around! Host was wonderful and server even more fantastic! Best brunch I’ve had downtown! Sat on the patio with my pup she got some grilled chicken too! 5 stars! Music playing outside coming from the 9 and it was great!

We had an awesome server, the appetizer was good, the food took 30 minutes to come out and wasn’t even hot, and the restaurant was empty. I was very disappointed because we’ve been coming here since they opened. Drinks super overpriced! Never heard of 2 martinis being $42?? Definitely won’t be back

Food was good, portion sizes were large. Service was terrible. We waited 20plus minutes for the waiter to take our drink order. We actually had to ask the hostess to look for our waiter. He took both drink and food at same time. Waited about 10 plus minutes for drinks.. bar was not busy. Our food arrived 5 minutes after the cocktails. We made a 5:45 reservation and almost missed our 7pm showtime at playhouse.. and there were maybe 5 takes full.

Bett's sausage and biscuits bowl and scrambled egg bowl were both excellent. Service was energetic and prompt. Good drinks.

Just so you know, we do specials through the week. On Tuesdays for lunch and dinner, all of our appetizers are half price. UPDATE to my original review: Although I and my party were still disappointed about some of our dining experience, the food was good, no question. And the location is excellent. What is most important to me, though, is the immediate and sincere outreach from management when I voiced my issues in my original review, and their clear desire to undo my unhappiness -- that's the spirit of Cleveland I experienced during my visit there for a conference. Sadly my schedule did not allow a second visit to Betts this time but they are back on my list for the future.

A new server was really trying and the manager was very attentive and helpful. Other than a nasty uneaten wedge salad which was removed from the bill the food was good and they got us out in time for the theater. But, a word of advice if you are going to a show, tell your server when you sit down and give yourself an extra 1/2 hour.

I have driven past Betts many times and was drawn in by the cute exterior. We finally were able to scheduled a brunch and we were so glad we did! The restaurant was very accommodating, allowing us to increase our reservation from four to six. We enjoyed the patio seating and the service was excellent. We had a difficult time selecting our food because there were so many enticing selections, and we all were quite satisfied with our choices. We will be back!

Got a teriyaki bowl. Didn’t have all the ingredients, didn’t taste like teriyaki. No peanuts. Grilled chicken was burnt and dry. Husband got chicken. Very dry. Hamburger looked good. They did comp my bowl, so there is that. But at $25, it should be excellent. Good server. Unfortunately, will not go back.
