For years Betsy‘s was one of our favorite restaurant in south beach, but unfortunately yesterday wasn’t our best experience. Very slow and unpersonalized service, food was average.

As we approached the restaurant there was beautiful piano music and set up. The service was beautiful and the food was delicious. Gonzalo was our waiter and he was amazing. Will definitely try to come back here

Great food, excellent service, versatile, talented piano player (Tal Cohen) and wonderful ambience. Our favorite place to eat on Ocean Drive with the bonus of live quality jazz.

We told the server of multiple allergies and kept having food brought out with the allergen, only to be told after we ate it they made a mistake. Repeatedly.

We had a fantastic experience at The Betsy last night. Wonderful atmosphere, top rate sushi offerings (which I had never tried at the Betsy before, but which exceeded my expectations), incredible bread/cheesy crumpet that was bursting with flavor and served with every dinner, well made bourbon old fashioned from the bar, and while we were eating, we were being entertained by a piano player who played jazz and show tunes with a jazz feel in the bar lounge area. The Betsy is definitely high on our list of best Miami Beach restaurants

We come here often and we love it! The food is outstanding, live music and quiet ambience is perfect. However, every time we come our server disappears after we put our food order in and doesn’t check on us after that. After having to flag someone else down to help us, they tell us our original server is on break. The lack of communication and lack of consistent service is disappointing. This has happened to us the last two times we went. 20% service charge is included and I don’t think that’s fair as the service falls off after we put our food order in. We will be going back, however we will be more vocal whenever we need service.
