Tapas originated in Andalucia, a Southern province of Spain, and are considered a fundamental way of life. These tasty small dishes are traditional Spanish dishes found in every bar, cafe, restaurant, and home. A tapa is an appetizer or snack in Spanish cuisine that can be combined to make a full meal and can be cold (such as mixed olives and cheese) or hot (such as gambas al ajillo (shrimp in garlic) or patatas bravas). We wanted to bring this culinary experience to the heart of East Greenwich creating a shareable experience, transporting our guests to Southern Spain with a variety of diverse flavors and wine pairings that will entice their tastebuds.

This was my first time here. I’ve been in the area for a long time and I’ve heard a lot of good things about this restaurant. So we finally went, but I don’t understand why people think it’s so great. It’s definitely a nice setting and they have a pizza oven bar, and then a bar on the street level, it’s overall the setting and the staff is very good. The food, I expected a little more. I had the paella and I thought for the price, it would be a good size plate. It was actually quite small and although the shellfish and chicken was plentiful, the rice was very thick and heavy, very thick with butter and salt.

Besos was great, amazing cocktails and the patio was very intimate and great for the occasion. However I will say we waited a solid hour for apps and raw bar which was surprising but the drinks flowed and were great so we didn’t mind too much. Most apps were great! Skip the crabcake and pulpo. Will be back I loved this little spot. Great for friends AND family. I also saw they’re dog friendly. Our servers were AMAZING and went above and beyond for sure.

Start off on a positive note... our waiter Ryan was phenomenal. Super sweet and attentive! The oysters (buck a shuck) were absolutely terrible. They clearly were shucked way ahead of time and were all dried out and gross. I guess you get what you pay for. Never getting those again. The mussels were good/ok and the highlight of the dinner was the pepperoni pizza. Love me some roni cups and a drizzle of hot honey.

Food and service excellent. We asked for outdoor patio, but they only had outdoor table on front porch. Lots of noise from traffic. Next time we will make reservation in advance for patio in back, which looked lovely and quiet.

We wanted a quiet space to visit with old friends. Food was quite good and service was great..they left us alone! Terrific place for what we wanted.

Failure on all fronts. Our server was harried and rarely seen. We were told that one entree was delayed and it arrived almost 10 minutes late, well after the other three entrees were cold. Then the quality of the food was shockingly poor. The chicken and fish both dry and badly overcooked. The couscous was so raw that is actually crunched. The diner eating the paella basically gave up 10 bites in. We are normally BIG fans of this restaurant group’s other restaurants but this meal was a disaster.

The outdoor rattan chairs were all broken, HOLES in seats! The cement patio and stairs needed power washing , was very dirty.

Lively spot right on Main Street with live music. Food was ok; service was a bit slow as it was pretty crowded; noise level was loud even with seating well away from the musicians. Nothing special about it so would not return.
