Tapas originated in Andalucia, a Southern province of Spain, and are considered a fundamental way of life. These tasty small dishes are traditional Spanish dishes found in every bar, cafe, restaurant, and home. A tapa is an appetizer or snack in Spanish cuisine that can be combined to make a full meal and can be cold (such as mixed olives and cheese) or hot (such as gambas al ajillo (shrimp in garlic) or patatas bravas). We wanted to bring this culinary experience to the heart of East Greenwich creating a shareable experience, transporting our guests to Southern Spain with a variety of diverse flavors and wine pairings that will entice their tastebuds.

The food was unbelievable, we shared several tapas dishes, such as the mussels, ceviche,and Brussel sprouts . We also had the Medium salad, which was dressed perfectly! Our server was friendly and attentive! Great experience!

Lunch at Besos (inside) was lovely! Outside on the porch of course is noisier, but inside was cozy and leisurely. Food and service were both great.

Our service was terrible. Took 20 minutes to get a drink. Our pizza was cold. They were clearly under staffed.

The waiter smelled of Marijuana. Two of the three tapas we ordered were not served. We were given something similar to what we had ordered. My dirty martini was made incorrectly. The saving grace of our meal was the brick oven pizza.

So disappointed. Food was just ok - not worth the price at all. Service was not good. I had called the day before to be sure staff would sing to our birthday girl; I was assured they would make her feel special. They didn’t sing or anything - we didn’t even get a knife or additional plates. Our server was MIA much of the time; nice in a robotic kind of way when she did make it to our table but very slow in bringing our requests. I get they were busy but we’re paying for a service we didn’t receive. We were looking forward to a sweet, family celebration and we enjoyed each other but definitely not the restaurant. The ups: We were seated immediately and had a great patio table Drink menu was creative

Excellent food and service! Interesting items on menu, not necessarily your run of the mill fare. I highly recommend.

Food was overcooked—scallops, shrimp and swordfish. Sent back and second time was correct. Service was extremely slow. Server stood at table next to us chatting for at least 10 minutes while we were waiting for food. Took a long time to get our meals. Came at 6:30, didn’t finish until after 8:30. Gave her the check and waited at least 15 mins for change while she put glasses on tables for setups, arranged them, disappeared. We finally had to stop her and ask for our change. Waited another 10 mins. When she didn’t come back, the three of us stood up by our table. She finally appeared and gave me the wallet that held the food bill and inside was our change, bills, crumpled up along with our receipt. It was almost like they had thrown the receipt in the trash and had to dig it out. We will never go back

Always happy to eat at Besos. Inside is a little loud for my taste. Love the patio.Parking lot is appreciated. Tapas are mostly good. Nice variety..some a little bland..Salads good.
