an intimate 48-seat neighborhood restaurant in royal oak, michigan. we strive to be thoughtful about the food we plate, atmosphere we create, & energy we spread.

our goal at beppé is simple: to be intentional about the food & drink we serve, while fostering a welcoming environment.

whether you love beppé for our house-made pasta, to share with those you love plates, summer patio, thoughtfully curated cocktails, or a quality bottle of wine, we're here to be your spot & can't wait for you to keep coming back.

as a smaller establishment, we feel obligated to accommodate and serve all customers who want to dine with us in a timely manner. with that said, we do have policies limiting length of reservations. groups of 2-3 are allowed 90 minutes. groups 4+ are allowed 120 minutes. we ask that this policy is taken into consideration before choosing to dine with us.

bar seating is first come first serve.

we do not offer separate checks for groups of 5+.

Overall, we had another good experience at Beppe. The food was outstanding as always. Drinks were solid. The only negative this time was speed of service.... there was only one staff member serving the entire inside section, and it seemed like the kitchen got backed up.

The cauliflower shareable is outstanding!!! I'll return just for this dish it's so good You really can't go wrong here- I appreciate that they keep the menu smaller so that everything has that perfect focus

Great atmosphere on a sunny Sunday evening dining on the patio. We ordered the beef tartare and fritto misto as starters, both of which were delicious. The beef tartare was a bit dry, but this may be due to the pile of shaved Parmesan on top. The fritto misto tasted freshly battered and fried, which was a pleasant upgrade from the frozen, pre-packaged calamari many other restaurants offer. We also ordered the Wagyu ribeye to share, which was served more medium well than medium rare as we requested, and was a little chewy. We let our server know and she was very kind about bringing it back and having a new one made. The replacement ribeye was cooked perfectly and was a much better cut. Fully pleased with our meal and service here!

The beet salad with whipped feta is worth a trip on its own but everything was packed with flavor and worth every penny. Will definitely return.

5/5 stars for everything except the portions. I go here often and will continue to, but sometimes leave hungry :(

We were on their lovely, lovely patio for drinks and apps. There’s a beautiful draped cloth ceiling to protect from too much sun or little rain sprinkles, as we had that night. Very California. Delicious food (especially the cauliflower with cashew butter and dates), and the service was friendly and attentive. Other times, we’ve had the entrees, which are also delicious.

Food was good, calamari was only ok. Super fried with no flavor. Would not recommend. The tagliatelle was delicious as was the spaghetti.

Consistency is the number one ingredient for any great restaurant. Beppe has proven to continually serve up first class dishes, very good wine pairings, served by wonderful staff. On this occasion I had the Roasted otto farms half chicken, lemon, radicchio, cornichon, pickled shallot and my wife had the halibut crispy potato cake, beurre blanc, dijonnaise. I know it's hard to get effusive over chicken but this was the best chicken I have ever eaten. Although I wasn't a fan of the radicchio salad my sister would have loved it. Just not my thing. The halibut is to die for! And Angela who was our server last time was once again at our table with a warm smile and attentive service. She adds something to our experience. Beppe has proven worthy of being called the finest dining experience in the downtown Royal Oak area, perhaps in all of Royal Oak.
