Visited for the first time with a business colleague. Monday night half price wine bottles and appetizers was a great choice. The steak was cooked perfectly. Great service!

Tried the Hudson location this weekend, and it was just as good as the St. Paul location. I had my Honey Smoked Salmon Salad. With reasonably priced Chardonnay. Hubby enjoyed it as well. Bob was an excellent server, and all of the staff were great. Nice vibe. We were happy to hear that they are running shuttles to Excel for hockey and concerts ($20 round trip). Beats the price of Uber/Lyft from this end of town and the stress of getting a ride after an event. Bravo Bennet's and welcome to the St. Croix Valley.

I never complain about restaurants, but this will be the last time I go to Bennetts. The service was so poor, they didn't have enough staff, it took 35 minutes for a server to come and ask if we wanted to order drinks, we all just stayed with water and ordered our food because it was obvious that the service could not keep up with the customers and we thought we would never get him back to take our orders if we didn't order right then! Our entrees came out prior to our salads, which we ended up boxing up our salads because we had finished our entrees. The food was good but the portions were very small/inconsistent for some of the items (vegetables, salads, etc.). The one and only server was a super nice guy, but definitely above his head in service responsibilities and unable to manage the tables. Lots of apologizing which is appreciated, but it truly was frustrating and really impacted our celebration dinner. The acoustics in the restaurant are exceptionally loud, the table behind us was so loud we couldn't hear each other speak at our table. I couldn't wait to get out of there. :/

Excellent family run restaurant. Food was great, service was great, but I was a little surprised that my bill did not reflect the Saturday night special price. This is a regular special so surprised it was coded. Server took care of it by adding a discount to accommodate but the price still wasn’t right. I’m sure they will figure it out.

Quality food in great ambiance. My party had seafood, steak, ribs and pot pie. Wait staff was attentive and friendly. Everyone enjoyed the experience. We will return.

We had the best restaurant experience in ages. Price points were spot on, service was off the charts as well as exceptional drinks and food. Kudos to a well managed restaurant. May the Twin Cities learn from you!! We will be back! Grieving pet friends
