We made these reservations to celebrate our 22nd anniversary. They had a sign as we sat down that said Happy Birthday. Our server was not very attentive. At the very beginning she said that she was going to leave us to ourselves. She certainly did that. We did not get refills on our drinks and rarely saw her. I looked around and it seemed like the other servers were doing a great job engaging their customers and all of the other customers seemed happy. I wish we had a different server as our anniversary dinner could’ve been so much better if we ate at this restaurant with a different one. Overall, the restaurant is a great place to go. The food was good, the ambiance was great as it was homecoming and it was exciting to see all the kids dressed up.

Excellent happy hour with wonderful appetizers offered. Great service in a relaxing setting. One of our faves!

Our person that worked behind the bar..(Sloan) is outstanding along with the others. We love coming here and it is great and consistent every time!

A favorite Friday hangout among work friends to have beverages, share appetizers, and relax in an easy going environment. A clear cut above local average with thoughtfully crafted dishes, specialty drinks, and the chef/owner/operator visibly working the front end - tastefully elevated casual dining.

Great food and excellent service. Fantastic menu. Wish we could have tried everything. Really enjoyed our visit.

Amazing food, even better service. This place never disappoints. We travel all over northern Michigan to eat and Bennethums is by far the highest quality restaurant . The service brings us back every time!! Best restaurant in the central northern Michigan area by far!!!!

Our table was ready for us when we arrived early. The service was excellent. Our waitress greeted us when we were seated and she advised me on an exceptional Cabernet. After receiving our meal, she checked with us several times to see if we were satisfied with our food and asked if we wanted more wine or needed anything else. All employees were very cordial, and our meal was exquisite!

We have eaten here twice during our stay in Gaylord. Food is absolutely delicious!! Service is excellent! Danielle was our server and she was great! Definitely recommend to enjoy an evening here!!
